Since her arrival at the café, Kokoa Hoto has become accustomed to her new life as a waitress even though the Rabbit House isn’t the rabbit paradise she initially envisioned it to be. Life is pleasant, and she enjoys spending time both working and playing with her friends and fellow waitresses Chino Kafuu, a cute middle school student with a fuzzy bunny companion named Tippy, and Rize Tedeza, the pig-tailed daughter of a soldier who is readily armed for any scenario. Together with Chiya Ujimatsu and Sharo Kirima, who also work at neighboring cafés in town, the Rabbit House crew gets involved in all sorts of crazy adventures. Throughout these adventures, the girls encounter troubled novelists, rival cafes, secret treasure, and... alcoholic chocolates? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Cocoa decides to send some pictures of her new friends to her family back home, but Chino is very shy around cameras. Cocoa's mission to capture Chino smiling begins! Meanwhile, Chiya's Japanese sweets shop Ama Usa An is featured in a magazine, alongside several other cafés in the area... but Rabbit House is not among them.

Chino wants to learn how to tell a good ghost story and scare her friends, so when Syaro confides that her house is haunted, she rushes to the scene... but the "ghost" turns out to be something she didn't expect. Later, Chino and Cocoa pay a visit to Rize's mansion and witness just how rich their friend's family is.

It's fine arts month at Chino's school, and on the agenda are a sketching contest and a creative dance recital. Chino and her friends Maya and Megu search the town for subjects to use in their sketches, and to contribute to their dance routine, Chino decides to learn ballet.

The seasons pass, and all the girls are about to advance to the next grade in school. Perhaps they've grown a bit more mature? At Rize's suggestion, they all go out for afternoon tea at a nice café to celebrate. The next day, for some reason, Cocoa seems to be giving more effort than usual...

Cocoa's sister Mocha is coming to visit! Or she should be, but the wait drags on. Cocoa sets out into town to find her, but with no luck. Mocha, meanwhile, is in the park cuddling a feral rabbit. Will the two sisters find each other?

Cocoa feels as if her older sister Mocha is taking away all her new "little sisters." At the same time, she doesn't want to look like a spoiled baby sister herself, so she begins to distance herself from Mocha...

Cocoa stains her work uniform, but the household washing machine is broken, so she decides to hand-wash her uniform along with Chino's and Rize's. The activity leads Chino to wonder if it's finally time to change the Rabbit House employee uniforms. Later, all the girls get together at Syaro's house for a curry party.

Chiya tells Syaro she had a fight with Cocoa, explaining that she pouted because Cocoa seemed unconcerned about the possibility of their school classes changing. Syaro seeks insight from Rize and Chino, but just then, Chiya receives a challenge letter from Cocoa...

Chiya tells Chino that there used to be a deep rivalry between the owners of Ama Usa An and Rabbit House, so all of the girls decide to find out whether that's true. Chino takes advantage of a middle school job experience project to work at Ama Usa An for three days and investigate both shops' pasts along with Chiya.

Rize is always helping out various school clubs. One day, she invites Syaro to join her, and the two of them visit several clubs as they investigate the legend of another club helper from the school's past, "Miss Emerald."
