The plot of the series revolves around three youkai, Bem, Bera and Barro, who arrive at a large coastal city and come across an evil atmosphere, which was brought about by immoral behavior by humans and mischief caused by monsters and youkai. They therefore decide to stay in the city, fighting against other monsters and yōkai which attack humans, making a few friends in the way. Even though the three youkai are often abused by other human beings due to their appearance, they still strive in protecting the human populace of the city from other monsters, one day hoping to become human beings in return for their good actions.
Bem, Baro, and Bera have moved to a new city & Baro must conceal his true monster identity. Baro befriends Kira and must protect her from a devouring monster even if it means revealing his true identity
Desiring to be freed of his accursed duties, the God of Death nabs ten people in a quest to bring back ten billion souls to Hell. Kira tries to reach out to Baro but she is kidnapped and may be taken to Hell forever
A spooky romantic werewolf in search of his former lover gets a kick out of preying on young women. Thinking that she is his lover, the brute falls for Berra. She must destroy the monster before he devours her and other innocent humans
A treacherous harpy monster consumes abused animals with a hate for mankind. Baro's new friend Mitsuki befriends a mysterious parrot that is taken by the beast and Baro must destroy the monster even if it means showing his true self
A ghoulishly creepy monster haunts the pediatric hospital, making every sick and injured child worse. After injuring his leg in a soccer game, the meddling Sora is admitted into the hospital and believes that the monster is Baro
New student Kendo makes a dubious pact with an evil monster who promises to revive his dead sister if he offers a human sacrifice. Kendo decides to kidnap Kira and now Baro must be the one to rescue her
Bem & Berra learn from their dying master that two sickly strangers who will do whatever it takes to stay alive and keep their humanoid strengths. Bem, Baro, and Berra must defeat the two hunters to stay alive
A mysterious sewer monster is kidnapping people and hiding them in his secret lair. Bem, Berro, & Berra hunt down the beast without the city knowing that they are actually monsters themselves
An eerie fortune-teller monster steals the source of happiness from women, gaining her power from the misfortune of humanity
Two banks are robbed by a group of monsters bent on retrieving the treasures that were taken from them
