Hatsune-Jima was once well-known for its cherry trees, which would bloom no matter what time of year it was. Two years ago, the island's cherry trees lost this ability and all became ordinary cherry trees that bloom only in the spring. Jun'ichi Asakura is now a graduating senior at Kazami Academy, and is surrounded by many close friends, old and new alike. On a stormy summer day, a mysterious young girl, Aisia, arrives at Jun'ichi's door. She is looking for Sakura's grandmother to study magic, ultimately hoping to bring happiness to everyone. When she discovers that grandmother Yoshino had long since passed away, she joyfully assumes (thanks to his error in judgment) that Jun'ichi is able to teach her. Even though she finally understands that the only magic he's capable of is conjuring Japanese confections, Aisia continues her search for magic on Hatsune-Jima. Amid the chaos of her search, Kazami Academy hires new medical staff. (Source: ANN)
Jun'ichi, with the help of his group of friends (the self-appointed "Support Team"), manages his daily life in Nemu's absence. On a stormy summer day, a mysterious young girl arrives at his door.
Jun'ichi and Kotori decide to skip school and help the girl, Aisia, find her destination on a rain-soaked map written in a foreign language.
After learning that grandmother Yoshino is dead, and after Jun'ichi inadvertently shows his only magical skill, Aisia decides to make him her "Master". When Mako discovers her, she insists on having Aisia stay at the Mizukoshi residence.
Convinced that Jun'ichi studies at a school of magic, Aisia sneaks into Kazami Academy.
Aisia keeps a close eye on Jun'ichi to "catch" him using magic, despite his insistence that he can only conjure Japanese confections.
Rumors abound after Miharu discovers a letter in her shoe locker.
A fight with Nemu over Aisia living with Jun'ichi is exacerbated when he becomes jealous of the new doctor, Akishima, in the infirmary.
Jun'ichi attempts to find Nemu in the rain. After another heated fight with Nemu, he confronts Dr.Akishima.
Aisia (after a chat with Misaki) and Miharu concoct a scheme to get Jun'ichi and Nemu to reconcile. At the base of the dead cherry tree, Jun'ichi and Nemu talk about his grandmother.
Jun'ichi and Nemu lose sleep watching a drama series on DVD. Left alone, Aisia joins Tamaki's miko club, thinking that Shinto is an eastern form of magic. She decides to use her newfound knowledge on the school's baseball team, who is known for fifty straight losses without even a hit.
