The once chaotic city of Akibara has regained its everyday hustle and bustle following the formation of the self-governing organization Round Table Meeting. The earthlings, who are originally from the game world, have gained the trust of Shiroe by waging a defensive war against the Goblins in Zantleaf Region. This has led Princess Rayneshia of the Cowen family, the highest-ranking Earthling Aristocrats, to live in Akibara. It's almost winter and the Adventurers are thinking about what they're going to do and what their goals are in this other world. Will they remain in Akibara or go to the city of the West? Or will they travel to the land of the North or another faraway country? The opinions of the Adventurers begin to diverge. The price to keep Akihabara running smoothly is escalating by the second. Shiroe concludes that he must leave the city to seek an answer elsewhere, before the Adventurer's hub drowns in debt.
While Shiroe does some recruiting for the upcoming raid, Naotsugu does a little recruiting of his own. Meanwhile, Akatsuki is wondering what Shiroe has planned for her while she carries out his assignment.
The full raid is on as Shiroe and his party begin their treacherous exploration of the Abyssal Shaft. With no idea of their progress and raid bosses lurking in the shadows, supplies become an issue for the group.
Maryelle, Hienretta, Serara, Riese and Mikakage join Akatsuki in the detail to protect Lenessia.
Enheart Nelreth continues to wreck havoc in Akiba and throws the city into a state of disquiet. This prompts the remaining Round Table members to impose an evacuation of the lower-levelled players to Zantleaf for their protection. Akatsuki later scours the city for Nelreth while Soujirou mobilizes his guild in the search.
While waiting for Akatsuki to revive with Riese on Christmas Day, Lenessia realizes that she had not truly made an effort to understand the Adventurers around her and resolves to do so.
Riese learns of Krusty's disappearance at the hands of Misa's weapon and with him currently missing in action, Henrietta advises her to keep the information under wraps for the time being. Afterwards, Mikakage calls them to explain the worldly effects of item descriptions and Riese postulates the murderer's abilities from his Byakumaru sword's text. The next day, Nazuna puts together a group of players to begin training as part of Riese's plan to defeat the murderer.
The Akiba Raid begins and Akatsuki uses her new equipment provided by everyone in battle with Nelreth before fleeing with Maryelle to another section of the city.
On Christmas Eve, the raiding party engages the boss called Luseat of the Seventh Garden in the Abyssal Shaft.
The raiding party revives after their overwhelming defeat on Christmas Eve and after listening to the disheartened words of his comrades, William struggles to raise their morale.
