It's been a year since the queen of Juraihelm passed away, and three people were summoned to replace her. They were Tsunami, Ramia and Romio. Tsunami was given a chance to become the future queen...BUT she first has to restore the balance by choosing a representative on earth, and having her do good deeds. Tsunami picks Sasami Kawai, a typical happy-go-lucky fourth grader. Tsunami tells her she will become a "magical girl". She also sends Ryo-Ohki, a rabbit who thinks he's a cat, to help her out. Ramia was soo angry that she visits Earth and hypnotizes Sasami's best friend, Misao. Sasami is called to deliver a CD, but ends up at an empty lot. Then an evil magical girl appears. Who is she? Sammy has now become a "magical girl" problem is that she knows nothing about it! So she was with Ryo-ohki, Pixy Misa appeared and confronted her! She turned Sammy's CD into a monster. So then Sammy transformed and tried to fight the monster. She was so pathetic, that Misa gave her 3 hours to train.

Sasami’s class gets their exam results. Sasami scored a 60%, so her parents have her enroll in the Success Prep School program that her classmates have also been doing. To complicate things, Ramia and Rumiya have Pixy Misa take over the class as the teacher. Pixy Misa summons Comic Girl who is all about fun and no studying. Comic Girl starts zapping random students into comic books. Will Pretty Sammy step up and save the day?

Mihoshi has her class do vaulting exercises. Misao and Hiroto are unable to vault, so Sasami and Hiroto help them practice after school. Misao tries to overcome her fears. But on the day of the vault test, Ramia has other plans for Misao: to not only overcome the vaulting box, but also to have Pixy Misa show up and summon the gym class’ worst nightmare.

Hoping to boost family business sales, Sasami's dad arranges for Pretty Sammy to make her star debut at a concert outside the CD store. How embarrassing! Can Pretty Sammy sing? Will Pretty Sammy's secret be revealed as well? Pixy Misa has a love-love monster on the way to ruin the party.

Sasami's class (4-3) has been fairly rowdy during lunchtime recently, much to the annoyance of neighboring class 4-2 teacher Kiyone. As Kiyone scolds Mihoshi, the students dismiss themselves to play dodge ball, but class 4-2 was planning on playing too. It's a battle between the two classes to be settled with dodge balls, but Pixy Misa shows up and brings her latest love-love monsters! Time for Pretty Sammy!

Sasami's class gets a new science teacher that arrives at the school in a rocket. She is 12-year old kid genius from America named Washu Fitzgerald Kobayashi, and is there not only to teach but to do research on magical girls, especially Pretty Sammy. Will Sasami be able to keep her identity a secret? And what does Pixy Misa have in mind to foil the plans?

After a play date with Sasami, Misao returns home to an empty house. Not wanting to be alone, Misao calls over Sasami for a sleepover. Sasami and Ryo-Ohki go over there. Ramia in the meantime seizes the opportunity to scare Sasami by having Pixy Misa summon the love-love monster Ghost Girl!

Sasami and Ginji's road trip takes an unsuspecting turn as they end up on a deserted island, which isn't really deserted since it's actually the training grounds of the love-love monsters. Sasami's classmates somehow end up on the island as well. What will Pretty Sammy and the gang do now??
