Éclair lost her memories due to making a contact with the Phoenix, making her immortal, as Phoenix's powers are so powerful. She lived 400 years trying to protect the Stone Phoenix, and at the end of the movie, she was released from immortality and dies in Lucy's arms.

Happy is a cat with some magical power, which may be the reason for his ability to speak. He can temporarily grow wings on his back and fly, and is capable of carrying only one person in this form. Happy apparently can fly at incredible speed as it took Eligor less than an hour to reach Clover when Happy caught up with him in mere seconds with Natsu in tow).
