Japanese Name : ヴァン グランツ Hometown : HOD Age : 27 Weight : 190 lbs (86 kg) Height : 6'2" (189 cm) Weapon : Swords Japanese Voice Actor George Nakata English Voice Actor Michael McConnohie Vandesdelca Musto Fende, better known as Van Grants, is the Commandant of the Order of Lorelei - the commander of the Six God Generals. He is also Luke's sword instructor and mentor. When Van was young (and known as Vandesdelca Musto Fende), and his mother was pregnant with his sister, Tear Grants, he was forced to destroy the island of his birth, Hod, by being attached to a machine that would cause a hyperresonance. Van later found out that this was predicted in the Score, starting his hatred of it. It sparked his plans of overthrowing it. Since the creation of replicas was not predicted in the Score - and thus, they were not bound by it - his goal was to replicate the entire world and everything in it, destroying all the originals. To do this, he had to get into a position of power - to get followers. So he joined the Order of Lorelei - the organization that ensures that the world follows the score. He even tried to look older once he did get into a higher position so that people would be more likely to look up to him rather than be jealous of his high rank. Once there, he found others, who made up the the Six God Generals, who shared the same hatred of the Score that he had. Van origninally followed the Score - even ensuring the fall of Akzeriuth, but later showed his true objectives by trying to make St. Binah fall as well. When Asch was still known as Luke, he had gained a lot of trust in Van, and agreed to run away to Daath with him one day. Instead, Asch was kidnapped and replicated. This new Luke was to die in Asch's place at Akzeriuth - something that never happened. Van needed Asch for his hyperresonance, as it could be used to destroy all the Sephiroth which held the land in the Outer Lands. Being the commandant of the six god generals, Van is a formidable opponent. He is fought twice as the final boss of the game. He can cast both magic (including fonic hymns) and use melee attacks. Van has three Mystic Artes. The first of these is Imperial Slaughter, which is very similar to Asch's Rending Saber. Van tosses the foe into the air with many streams of light, then thrusts his sword into the ground, causing a fonic glyph and even more light energy to appear and damage nearby targets. Character Quote: "I'll destroy you! Imperial Slaughter!" His second Mystic Arte is Celestial Elegy. Van holds his sword overhead, and spirals of light hit any nearby characters. He then slams his sword against the ground, causing beams of light to appear and hit a wide range. Character Quote: "Hyaaah! Celestial Elegy!" Van's final Mystic Arte is Ancient Requiem. This is similar to Luke's Radiant Howl. Van carries the opponent into the air using a storm of light rays, and then damages them several times with a ball of energy that appears in front of him. This then explodes, knocking the character away. Character Quote: "Behold the power of Lorelei. Farewell! Ancient Requiem!"
She is the sister of Jade and governor of Keterburg.
A childhood friend of Jade Curtiss, Nephry Balfour, and Dist. Peony is a very laidback, unconventional monarch. He trusts Jade explicitly and is perhaps the only man to truly understand him. Peony has a soft spot for animals called "rappigs", which he keeps as pets named after people he likes (including Jade, Nephry, Saphir/Dist, Aslan Frings, Gelda Nebilim, and Luke). He was once in love with Nephry, even setting aside a mansion he intended to share with her. However, because she was a "commoner", they could not wed. In the end, she married someone else and the emperor has never completely moved on (as he now still refuses to marry any other). This has not deterred him from being something of a lecher, however, as he eagerly accepts any opportunity to ogle women (most notably, by providing free passes to the Keterburg spa, and then providing lewd bathing suits as gifts). - Wikipedia.

He grows up in the same orphanage as Wolfwood, having the nickname, "Livio the Crybaby". Razlo the Tri-Punisher of Death is a violent and psychotic split personality, treated as another member of the Gung-Ho Guns. Razlo is created to take all of the abuse given by Livio's father, allowing Livio to not know about it. Razlo only appears after Livio has suffered intense pain or violence, and often commits act of violence, such as killing Livio's parents. He uses three Punishers, the same gun as Wolfwood owns, with the aid of a bionic arm. He is aided by three servants who carry his Punishers while Livio's persona is active. The two fight with Wolfwood and they are defeated, though Wolfwood dies after sustaining immense injuries while overdosing himself on the regeneration drug. In the aftermath of the fight Livio comes to terms with Razlo's existence stating that he is now strong enough to face life on his own without the questionable help of his psychotic personality, who recedes in the back of his mind. Vash decides to forgive Livio afterward, and he becomes Vash's partner in an act of redemption, seeking to live as Wolfwood would have. Livio fights against Elendira. Unable to win himself, Livio allows Razlo to awake and help him kill the Crimsonnail, by utilizing Razlo's faster reflexes and better eye sight. Livio later lives together with the children in his old orphanage and is shown paying his respects to Wolfwood's gravestone.

Lan Fan is one of two bodyguards of Ling Yao and the granddaughter of Ling's other bodyguard, Fu. She is very quiet and cares deeply for Ling. As a result, she is constantly thinking of his safety and often forgets her own. Lan Fan is a very skilled fighter and is able to sense the presence of a soul (referred to as chi); thus she can quickly identify Homunculi like Envy that have more than one soul in their Philosopher's Stones (meaning she can easily see through Envy's disguises). Although we are never told her age Ling refers to her as a "girl" so we can assume that she and Ling are around the same age. After being heavily injured by the Führer himself, Lan Fan sacrifices her arm to help Ling and herself escape. Later, She leaves with Fu to have an automail arm made for her. Lan Fan comes back six months later with an automail left arm. The automail is equipped with retractable blade starting from her elbow and ending around her shoulder. She uses it in a fight against Gluttony and in the siege of Central. (Source: Wikipedia)
