According to Kirito, she and him are a lot alike and are both socially awkward, wall themselves in from people but fear loneliness. She died along with 4 other members from the guild, as they were lured into a trap filled with monsters. Even in her final moments, she still believed Kirito would protect her. Her final words to Kirito were "Thank you, Goodbye." She leaves a Kirito a Christmas message were she hums "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" and thanks Kirito for all the time they had spent together.
