It is later revealed that her mother is actually Serin & father is Nex ; this also makes XIX her brother; both are unaware that they are related. She turns XIX into an undead when he is killed during the slaughter of their town remembering the chant Serin used to summon the dead. XIX believes she is dead but she is currently revived by the Caladbolg though now sporting black hair & a scar down her chest.

To get near him, he used Princess Yuan as a hostage, but his plan failed and when Nex ripped his heart out, he endured longer than any other undead, implying that he the necromancer who resurrected him has great skills. He is shown to be Serin's son. His real name is Jyi.
