Johness is a sadistic and psychotic individual, nothing gave him greater pleasure than the feel of bleeding flesh in his hands and hearing the screams of agony from his victims. Johness is commonly known by his epithet "Johness the Dissector" before his sentence in Trick Tower, the single worst mass murderer in Zaban City's history. His murder technique was characterized by the plucking of flesh from the bone with only his bare hands as weapons. He was responsible for the killing of 146 people, all of which were severely dismembered to the point where none of their bodies were left in less than 50 separate pieces. Togari is a former Hunter examiner, who returns at the 287th hunter exam. He appears during the third phase of the exam where he confronts Hisoka, not as examiner but to take revenge for Hisoka giving him the two scars on his face from the previous exam. During the battle Togari shows Hisoka how much he has improved his fighting skills being able to use four knives at the same time, but despite this it was a quick battle, as Hisoka after being hit few times manages to stop two of his knives and uses them against him. Shocked Togari doesn't have the time to scream that Hisoka effortlessly decapitated him.
Todo is a wrestler and aspires to become a blacklist hunter. He is the 255th participant in the 287th Hunter Exam. As stated by Tonpa before the start of 1st stage of the Hunter Exam, Todo is a lot smarter than he looks. He shows the sense to not jump down the ravine at Split Mountain. He seems to be irritable hate injustice and is very opinionated and judgmental as he protests against Menchi's initial disqualification of the entire hunter examine pool, believing culinary ability is not necessary in becoming a hunter and that gourmet hunters are inferior to other hunter types. He seems to have a vengeful streak, as he swears he will not forget his humiliation at the hands of the two gourmet hunter examiners.
Examinee #191 during the Hunter exam. An expert at martial arts, Bodoro is a strict and seemingly stubborn old man with an unspoken rivalry with another martial artist participating in the Hunter Exam. However, this rivalry is tossed aside in the dire circumstances of Rippo's "bonus stage" after the Trick Tower. (This rivalry is only present during the original anime). When interviewed by Netero for the final stage of the Hunter Exam, his personal code of honor prevents him from fight Gon and Killua, who he sees as children, no matter their combat ability. His first battle in the fifth stage of the test is against Hisoka, who he can not even scratch, despite having a lifetime record of not a single man being able to withstand one hit by him. After a whisper in his ear by Hisoka, he admits defeat, and his next fight is against Leorio. However, before the fight can start, Killua suddenly pierces Bodoro's chest from behind, with a razor sharp hand, killing him.
Examinee #103 during the Hunter Exam. He keeps hundreds of snakes with him, which will attack everyone who attacks him. He keeps on himself an antidote to the snake venom as a means of manipulating his opponent. During the 4th exam he is accidentally killed by Ponzu's bees when she walks into one of Bourbon's traps.
Zebro is one of two groundskeepers at the Zoldyck family's estate on Kukuroo Mountain. He acts as a gatekeeper in front of the Testing Gate at first glance, but is actually just a janitor that cleans up after Mike (the largest Zoldyck guard dog) after it disposes off intruders. Even though he doesn't look like a man of muscle, he actually is muscled and astoundingly strong.
Gotoh is of the Zoldyck family manager. All contacts with the family members must go through him. An enigmatic and intimidating character, Killua once expressed to Gon his recurring nightmares of Gotoh chasing him with a knife. He is also superb at the "where is the coin" trick. He cares for Killua as if he was his own son. During the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc, he is killed in a fight by Hisoka while chasing Killua and Alluka.
