The Landlord (a.k.a. Lalo) (ÅŒya), born 1970) and is a bald, blue-skinned creature with a head shaped like a daikon radish. He is Milk's landlord. As Milk is perpetually over six months behind on her rent, he continually tries to get payment from her. However, whenever he tries to get the rent, she does or says something that shocks or tricks him, causing him to run back across the ladder to his own home. He is also anxious, as he once thought he lost his "purse," but shortly finds it after making a racket over it. The landlord has admitted to being a homosexual in the Japanese version of episode 9, "Financial Decay Peninsula". His homosexuality is openly referred to in more than one episode.

He was originally assigned to the Tohoku region. Early in the manga version, The Adams served a larger role as a supportive character for Mantaro, and remained faithful to the young prince. He later joins Mantaro, the Kid, Gazelle, and Seiu in their battle against Kevin Mask and his team. After the DMP was defeated, he returns to his post and joins the other second generations to train at the Ryogoku National Martial Arts Stadium, where he spars with Apollonman. He later makes an appearance to witness HF Second Year Replacement matches. He was also featured briefly in the first Nisei movie, during the Seigi Chojin fan appreciation day, where he is seen giving fans his autograph. An egotistical actor who works alongside Julia for the filming of a school drama. He is very full of himself though he acts very nice to Julia. He has a crush on her and tries to woo her. He however gets hit in the face when Julia pushes him out of the way to run and greet Ran. Confused by being spurned, he tries to brush it off only to accidentally bump into Ryou. To add literal insult to injury, Ryou proceeds to belittle him and he skulks off, never to be seen again. As an ongoing gag, every time a character tries to remember him, his image becomes more distorted as nobody remembers him clearly. Ran seems to have been jealous of him after she assumed he and Julia were dating. The only title he goes by is "sensei" which was the character he plays in the TV show he and Julia were filming. Julia does not remember what his real name is either, and he himself says he has no name.
