Santo had made his friend Mikuri very angry, but he doesn't remember the reason, because of that he had been sulking on the train station. When Reiko met Santo she promised to accompany him on his way to Mikuri the next day, but she never came to Santo since that day.

Tsubame wishes to meet a human named Taniozaki that helped her before. Natsume agrees to help her and the two grow attached. When Tsubame finds Taniozaki, Natsume feels bad that she can't talk with him, because Taniozaki is a normal human, but when Tarusaru tells Natsume of a kimono that can turn a spirit into human for a day which will be given as a reward in youkai festival's competition, he strives to get it.
