He runs for school president against Yui, and becomes the leader of a group of students who threaten Miaka and Taka. Ren has the ability to control people's minds, detesting and taking advantage of weak people who allow him to manipulate them. He dislikes and is jealous of the miracle that allowed Miaka and Taka to be together. Ren is the first Shitennou for Tenkou, who aided him in acquiring his powers and allowing him to travel between the two worlds. From linkFushigi Yuugi - The Fire of Suzaku's Wings
One of Ohno's American friends, Susanna (more frequently known as Susie or Sue), is a petite girl with an avid interest in yaoi. Susanna comes off as somewhat harsh and unsociable, and startles the other Genshiken members by using crude anime and manga quotes in Japanese (written in katakana to show her unfamiliarity with the language). As she makes gains in comprehension, her responding solely in quotes makes it unclear just how much Japanese she understands, much to the chagrin of Ogiue and others. Her extensive knowledge of anime and manga quotes suggests that Susanna is well-versed in both, having seen Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Fist of the North Star, Saint Seiya, Neko-Yasha, Mahoromatic, Azumanga Daioh, Doraemon and Lupin III, among others. She also seems to be obsessed with Japanese culture. As for her age, it is undetermined, and those who would know (i.e. Ohno) refuse to tell. Susanna wishes to study in Japan in the near future. In the relaunch of the manga, Sue has transferred to Shiiou University and is a first-year student and new club member of Genshiken. She is very close to Ogiue and still spouts various anime and manga quotes. She is employed by Ogiue to be one of her assistants for the official manga Ogiue is writing and drawing. A dragon of heaven, Sorata is an upbeat, irreverent teenager possessing considerable occult abilities, raised by the Shingon Buddhist monks of Kyasan after being taken away from his mother at a young age. A gourmand, he was frequently in trouble at the shrine for stealing food between meals (insisting that he couldn't wait until dinner), and is also a competent cook. It was prophesied that he would protect Kamui with his life, but that he would die for a woman; the first time he meets Arashi, he decides she will be the one. An incessantly friendly young man, he wears down the resistance of both Kamui and Arashi and worms his way into their affections, despite their initial coldness and his own unrefined Kansai dialect. In addition to generating powerful electrical discharges, he is also capable of calling upon a gohdji, a magical being similar to a shikigami manifesting as a massive, hideous ghostly creature. It is psychically linked to Sorata, allowing him to spy on others and act at a distance from himself, but he suffers any damage inflicted upon it. In Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle In the Republic of Hanshin, he's a cheerful history teacher married to Arashi and is host to Syaoran's group when they first arrive. In the apocalyptic world Tokyo, he's one of the seven fighters of the Tower faction.
Touma Kazamatsuri is a glasses wearing bookworm, with short, messy dark hair. She dislikes her hair in the morning, as it is a bad bedhead. She also seems to have a connection with a hair elastic. Touma also has a collection of plushies, which sit on top of her bookshelf at home. She prefers to be by herself alone in a quiet place, preferably the library. She also dislikes P.E class. Although Touma is easily annoyed by Torako's interference and she seems to dislike Torako on the surface, she is actually a good friend of Torako's, and cares for her (though she tries not to show it). She and Torako made a promise of becoming mutual friends, when they made a visit to the Kamizono Academy and met each other by chance. Touma has an older sister which she often fights with.
Outgoing and usually the instigator of the pack, she is identifiable by the fact that she does not wear a blazer over her shirt and tie like most other characters. She likes to achieve her objectives in a straight-forward manner and doesn't really seem to mind other people's circumstances. Because she was absent during the first few days of school, she was unwittingly assigned as a member of the discipline committee. She has an older brother Kitsune, whom she apparently holds in very low regard, and an older sister Oniyuri. As she does not have a very good relationship with her family, she often runs away from her home. Due to this reason, she and Suzume missed the first few days of school as they were very far away from home on the school opening day. She's Suzume's childhood friend. She's 164cm tall and her three sizes are 81-55-82. Her name contains a kanji of tiger (虎, tora?) and the first kanji letter of her name (上) can be pronounced as 'Ue' (West), thus revealing her name's relationship with White Tiger of the West (白虎).
