N is an enigma of a character who was first introduced in the Black and White, or Fifth generation, Pokémon games. He later reveals himself to be the leader, or "King," of Team Plasma at the Nimbasa Amusement Park to White(Manga) and to the Player (BW Games) in an attempt to distract White/The Player as some Team Plasma members escape. N becomes the primary antagonist for a majority of the story, as Team Plasma advances in their goal to release all Pokémon from human control.

A water master who appears in place of Kaky� in the film. A smart aleck high school student, he appears to fight for the Dragons of Earth solely to cause trouble. He meets his end in the film during his battle with Karen in the subway, when Karen causes a massive explosion that causes them both to be crushed by debris. One of the candidates to be the princesses of the Magic Kingdom and Nina's childhood friend, Maya has a pet chameleon named Lulu. At the beginning of the story, Maya had a strong rivalry with Nina but in episode 26, the rivalry ends. Maya has a crush on the prince, who loved her since the time from their childhood when they danced together and she saved him, and later marries him to become princess of the Magic Kingdom. She does not appear in the manga, but in the epilogue chapter she is mentioned as the roommate of Nina in Eltoria.
