Age: 16-17 Ei Sei is the king of Qin who bears a striking resemblance to Shin's friend Hyou. His father was the late king, but his mother did not have any royal blood. Ei Sei seems level headed but somewhat cold. When Shin was going to let Jo Kan leave, Ei Sei kills the assassin without remorse. However, he does care at least a little bit about those loyal to him.
Teng is Wang Qi's aide and seems to be an army man himself. He is the only one who actually has any idea what Wang Qi's plans are.
A merchant who ranked up as Qin's Right Chancellor. Shortly after he is introduced, it is revealed that he is planning to keep his army in Wei until Ei Sei dies, then storm Qin's capital of Xianyang, denouncing Seikyo as a tyrant and taking the throne for himself.

Maho is Mizuho's little sister. She is very close to her sister, initially refusing to accept the fact that Kei is married to her, but eventually warms up to him.
Cynthia's alter ego, who takes control when Cynthia's asleep. As Grace, her long hair is tucked up inside the cap she's wearing, and her charisma becomes a polar opposite, making her quite talkative and adapting a stubborn attitude. At night, she mainly controls the security of Hanaukyo Mansion with help from MEMOL, a large computer system which she designed on her own, although she's sometimes seen pacing through the corridors in the evening (this is how Tarou first met her and learned of her existence). She's not out every night, however, as Cynthia and Grace share the same sleep schedule and subsequently need to take some time off.
