Garp is a Marine hero, who was famous for cornering the late Pirate King, Gold Roger numerous times in his career. Garp is considered by Whitebeard as one of the few people that know the seas from the time of Gold Roger. Early on in Luffy's life, he was trained by Garp to become a strong Marine. Luffy was thrown into valleys, left alone in dangerous forests, and tied to balloons over high altitudes, all for the sake of making him stronger. After this he left Luffy and Ace in the care of an Dadan. Garp is first introduced in Koby's mini-series as the Marine Officer in charge of escorting Captain Morgan. However after falling asleep, Morgan makes his escape by striking Garp and taking Helmeppo as a hostage, fleeing on a small dingy. Garp then wakes up unharmed, apparently breaking a cannon in the process of waking up. When Koby begs to chase after the two, Garp allows Koby to pursue them. Upon the boys return they offer themselves to be punished, but Garp instead proposes a different course of action. He states that the pair of them are nothing but trouble and the only way to ensure they still in line is that he takes charge of the pair. She becomes the second member of Ren's team, appearing in Chapter 8. She used to be a girl who was constantly harassed and bullied by her classmates since she was in middle school. Telling Shitara that she wanted to die if to continue living her life like that, he uses the hypnotizing skills Ren taught him to releave her of her stress, then later was hypnotized by Ren that lead to her burst of self confidence. She later returns after overhearing Shitara and Ren talking, showing up with a new hair cut and contacts instead of glasses, and dedicating herself to their plan to releave humanity of their weaknesses through hypnosis. In an early chapter she can be seen in a silhouette with her hair before when Ren speaks of a team to help him.

Leader of the gods and the strongest being ever. He's the only remaining ancient god alive from more than 100.000 years. 100.000 years ago in the war between the ancient gods and the ancient dark ones he was the strongest gods warrior and he defeated the ancient dark ones and chased them down to hell. The ancient gods' leader Pan Gu feared his power and ordered him executed. When Hei Long came back from chasing the dark ones he found his beloved wife, Bai Long, almost dead by the gods decree. In a burst of anger he killed his own race and murdered all the ancient gods except him and Bai Long. In the end he couldn't save her but he tried to collect enough blood crystals to revive her. He brought 10 chosen humans children, removed their souls, and put in them some transcendent vigor from the ancient gods, thus creating the new gods only to help him collect crystal. For a 100.000 years he stayed hidden in his cave to save Bai Long from any harm and collect the blood crystals needed to revive her.

Uncle to Yuka Takagi and world class hypnotist. He was the one to demonstrate the capabilities that hypnotism can bring by making the weak and meager Oosawa stand up and act like a rock and roll star. Wishing to use this to liberate people of the world from the hypnotism that is being constantly used in media and such. After Oosawa's bombing, he comes onto the case and believes that there was someone manipulating him through the use of hypnotism, referring to this culprit as the "Third Party". He displays utter disgust at the use of hypnotism being used to control people to do horrific acts and is determined to find out who the Third Party is, wanting to use his hypnotism to interview the students and see who was the one controlling them. Ren, seeing him as a threat as his powers can go much deeper than a regular hypnotist and discover who he is in spite of using hypnotism amnesia on his test subjects, Ren concocts a plan to make him disappear by first having him accused of being the Third Party. Then after getting the information of Itsuki's patients from Yuka, Ren hypnotizes them where once Itsuki calls them they will commit suicide, making it appear to the police that he was killing them off to cover his tracks. He is currently captured by the police and it has been broadcasted he is a witness in the killings. He is no longer running the taskforce with more and more evidence pointing to him as the Third Party.
