Kai is the richest boy in Japan, the fourteen-year-old son of the head of the multi-million dollar Mikawa Corporation. He rivals Nagasumi for Sun's hand in marriage. He is a killer whale from another mermaid group. Strangely while Sun and Lunar are shown in Mermaid form (torso of a human and tail of a fish) whenever they fail to maintain their human forms, Mikawa is shown as an entire Killer Whale when he succumbs to the effect of water. He also has agoraphobia, which is why he travels only in submarines and wears an astronaut's suit in open spaces. While looking for a servant he befriends Saru. Height: 148 cm Mawari is the daughter of the chief of police in Nagasumi's hometown, and a childhood friend of Nagasumi, who she has a crush on. She takes it upon herself to act as a moderator of social behavior, and often reprimands Nagasumi for some of his actions. * First appearance: Battle 146 * Type: Sei * Type: Satsujin Ken * Martial Arts: Savate Christopher Eclair is a member of Yami's Assassination Division and a master class user of Savate. He has a rather effeminate appearance and hairstyle and is often mistaken for a woman. He has grey hair and wears a dark red coat with white gloves and has blue pants and dark boots. He is rather vain and blunt as his first response when arriving in Japan was how dirty it was. He also has no problem using human shields, especially when it comes to using the elderly and children, something Shio Sakaki hated him and Mycroft for when they worked together for the United States. He is also somewhat sadistic as he claims to enjoy killing, because he finds it fun. He has no problem in kidnapping children such as Kenichi or killing anyone in his way. Christopher also has female aids work alongside him on missions and has them all wear the same perfume as him. Christopher appeared when he was assigned to kill Gauche Wynne. Gauche hired Sakaki to act as his bodyguard while he brought Kenichi along to help teach him about Yami. At first Eclair attacked Gauche's limo, but discovered he wasn't there. He then discovered that Sakaki had taken Gauche on a train to throw off Christopher, but he managed to find them and board the train. Sakaki and Christopher began to fight, but Sakaki was put at a disadvantage because Eclair continually used children as shields to distract Sakaki. After infuriating Sakaki by threatening Kenichi, Christopher was punched off the train only to have captured Kenichi for a hostage trade. Christopher later has Sakaki meet him at the twin towers and drop off Gauche at the opposite tower while he waited with Kenichi in the other. Sakaki dropped off Miu, disguised as Gauche, and jumped from one tower to the other and fought against Eclair, until Gauche distracted him and Eclair tossed him through a window and down to the street. Eclair then fought both Kenichi and Miu, who arrived with Sakaki as backup, and nearly killed them had not Sakaki arrived in time and, mistaking the scene as Christopher's rape of Miu, thoroughly pummeled him. He was defeated and sent to a police hospital, where he escaped authorities and left Japan.
First appearance: Battle 157 Age: 17 Type: Dou Type: Satsujin Ken Martial Arts: Chinese Kenpo (Zuì Quán) Li Raichi is the daughter of Li Tenmon and a practitioner of the Drunken Fist of the Eight Immortals. Raichi is a young short girl with long bright pink hair down to her waist that she has tied up in two pigtails and green eyes. She wears a tight red battle outfit when she fought Kenichi when she's labeled as Spark that has shoulder blades and knee-pads giving her a type of skater appearance and has gloves. For casual wear to look more normal, she's has been seen in a light yellow top and a green miniskirt and sandals. When she first met Kenichi, she showed to be a kind and cheerful person and a bit playful. Like Kenichi, Raichi loves flowers and was interested on how Kenichi new so much about it. In battle, Raichi was originally very aggressive and brutal in combat, showing no mercy to Kisara or the other member of Shinpaku Alliance. She was also quiet, rarely speaking unless she chose to. She can also be taunting, making fun of Kisara for having small breasts by groping her own. She is also insulted that Kenichi wouldn't hurt her due to her being a girl, stating it shouldn't matter in a fight. However, unlike her father, she doesn't desire to kill others and only wants to end things peacefully and only knock out her enemies. When Kenichi tried to end things peacefully due to him seeing how kind she is deep down from their time from before, Raichi, moved by his compassion, sheds tears of sadness over her situation of having to kill him and choose to give up revealing that deep down she doesn't want to kill others and is forced to thanks to Yomi. After her fight with Kenichi, Raichi has become much nicer and friendly and more helpful such as helping Kenichi and Miu take out the bomb on the ship where Diego Carlo was fighting. Also, she seems to have developed a crush on Kenichi, such as blushing around him and grabbing his arm after the fight, causing Miu to get jealous. Having been trained in Chinese Kenpo for a long time, Raichi is a very strong opponent for her age. So much that she was able to easily overwhelm the Shinpaku main members such as Kisara, Ukita and even Siegfried with ease (albeit he held his own until he was distracted by her sparks). Even against Kenichi she was able to put up a good fight and give him a hard time (though this was due to his refusal to hurt women). Due to her size, she's very agile and able to outmaneuver her enemies with ease.
* First appearance: Battle 192 * Age: 36 (Deceased) * Type: Dou * Type: Katsujin Ken * Martial Arts: Fuurinji Style Martial Arts Fuurinji Shizuha is the late mother of Fuurinji Miu, the wife to Fuurinji Saiga, and the daughter-in-law to Fuurinji Hayato. Shizuha was a tall fair-skinned woman. Like her daughter, she was slender yet noticeably curvaceous and athletic in built with rather large breasts. She had long dark hair that hung just below her waist. She has a hime-style hair cut with her bangs were cut in a short fringe that reached cheek length and framed the sides of her face with some strands hanging between her eyes, and thick strands in front of her ears that hung over her shoulders with elegant bands holding them. While part of her hair flowed freely, some of her hair was braided by the nape of her neck and the rest was held in place by a type of spiraling band. She apparently wore two red hair clips, one that concealed a small knife and the other concealed a lock pick. Normally, Shizuha would wear a long floral kimono. Underneath, she wore a similar tight body outfit to the one that Miu currently wears in most situations. In battle, she would also wear gauntlets and similar armor on her shoulders, outer thighs, and legs up to her knees. Like Miu, her hair turns wild when her Ki explodes. Shizuha was a kind woman who loved her daughter very much and was not afraid to die protecting her. She, like her daughter, was a very brave and selfless woman, caring for others and willing to do anything for the ones she loved. She fell in love with Saiga and he wished for her hand in marriage and wanted to be together with him. Shizuha was born into the Kuremisago Clan, a clan with the sole purpose of matching people with the best genes together, even among her clan Shizuha was revered as a person with the most excellent lineage. She met and fell in love with Saiga while on her secluded walks in the mountains. However, her clan, with their strict views, would never allow her to be with an outsider and feared to place her into the hands of someone too powerful. Saiga from the Fuurinji Clan believed that it should be permissible for people of the Kuremisago to marry outsiders, gaining support from Shizuha and many other Kuremisago. Others decided to ally to their traditional views and with the head of the clan, causing a feud that divided the Kuremisago. Shizuha fought alongside Saiga during the battles between the divided Kuremisago, later marrying him with Hayato's blessings. Shortly afterwards, she sent a letter to the elder warning him of something urgent, very likely related to her husbands fall into the Satsujin Ken. However, by the time he arrived Shizuha was already killed, seemingly by Saiga himself. Before she died, she left a feather to guide the elder to her daughter, who she hid in the snow. While not much has been shown of her overall abilities, Shizuha, being a member of the Kuremisago Clan, has shown to have been an extremely powerful fighter. Just being a member and taking down several members of her own clan with Saiga alone is enough to prove her worth as a fighter. Even Hayato, Saiga's father and the Invincible Superman complimented her skills, which is a testament to her skills. She is shown to be an incredible, powerful, and skilled martial artist, as shown when she seemingly fought almost on equal footing with the current leader of Yami while still protecting her infant daughter.
* First appearance: Battle 175 * Age: 18 * Type: Sei * Type: Satsujin Ken * Yomi Symbol: Ice * Martial Art: Command Sambo Boris Ivanov is a member of Yomi, a practitioner of Command Sambo, and the leading disciple of Alexander Gaider. He is the second Yomi member to fight Kenichi in a duel and is one of the first four Yomi members transferred to Kenichi's school. Boris is usually seen in a military outfit due to his loyalty to his country and has a muscular build. His hair is silver and spiked in the back and usually has a small headband around his forehead. He was seen in a school uniform to fit in at Kenichi's school. Being a Russian soldier and the right hand man to a colonel, Boris frequently acts in a militaristic manner. He strictly upholds orders and believes orders are absolute, as he will follow any order from his master or his teacher without question or hesitation. He also particularly hates anyone who disobeys orders, and seems jealous when he finds someone with greater loyalty than his. He seems to have a small degree of respect for anyone who is willing to speak against him openly. Although he is an enemy of Kenichi, he will work with him to take down some opponents and find ways to listen to him, such as hearing Kenichi's words as advice and tips, not orders. He will also find loop holes to turn orders to his advantage without going against them. Like Ethan, he was one of the few Yomi students to actually leave a good impression on most of the students their and held a respect for his teacher, Ono Kyouko, doing anything she asked without question and always did good deeds at his school. The teacher always thought of Boris as a very kind person, which may not be an overestimation, as he did ally with Kenichi to keep her safe from his own men due to loop holes he found, suggesting he may not be as bad as he seems and actually be more lenient towards Katsujin Ken. He gets along well with his militia men as they follow him as soldiers and commander but doesn't seem to listen to Kanou Shou until he hears his master's orders first. Boris is also the first opponent to acknowledge Kenichi for his strength, even to the point of even conceding that he is stronger.
First appearance: Battle 258 Age: 80+ Type: Sei Type: Satsujin Ken Yami Symbol: Water Martial Arts: Jujutsu (Kushinada Style) Kushinada Mikumo is the Jujutsu Master of Yami's One Shadow Nine Fists and the Master of Kushinada Chikage. It is worth noting that she is the only female member within the Nine Fists so far. Mikumo appears a curvaceous and very well-endowed woman in her mid 20's to early 30's. This is most likely due to her family's experimentation on their bodies to slow down their aging process. She has been seen driving in a sports car (clashing with her Japanese style hakama) towards a destination presumed to be Diego's location not long after Diego transformed into the "Angry Steel Fist." She has long waist length black hair, wears an open Kimono to show off her bosom and usually wears a bead necklace around her neck. In her youth, her hair was shorter, down to her chin and her breasts were not as large and she was slightly shorter. Mikumo is one of the most emotionless and serious members of Yami shown. She rarely shows any other emotions other than surprise and always keeps a melancholy face. She believes in keeping your emotions in control is important for battle and one should not lose your temper or it will dull your skills. She treats Chikage very well, more than any other member of Yomi, possibly because she's her disciple and seems to treat her as her own daughter. She seems to be fond of meditating, as she tends to meditate when she has free time. Mikumo holds the belief that empathy is weakness and that the strong do not let their heart be shaken by the weak. She used this to her advantage to make Ethan Stanley fight more ruthlessly against Kenichi to save his sister. However, she acts oddly feminine when she recounts her past adventures with Hayato, chiding him for being "hardly charming," covering half of her face with the sleeve of her hakama, and referring back to the events as "the hot fires blazing between us." Mikumo has worked with Fuurinji Hayato against Yami in the past, and a flashback reveals a much younger Hayato and what appears to be only a slightly younger Mikumo on the battlefield. It was hinted that the two may have shared a deeper relation at one time, though Hayato denies this, saying that "the only things that burned were the forts and tanks." What has turned her to the path of Yami is unknown at this point; however, it is suggested it was after the loss of someone she held dear.
