He has short, round arms and he pounds on his desk when talking on the phone. The President likes wine, women, and song but he usually enjoys cheap wine, loose women, and off-key karaoke. He also attracts flies.

This endearing old woman has no given name but is instead known as The Old Lady Next Door. She lives next to the Sato's and takes care of Kurobe. She and Moe are very much alike in that both love to pamper their cats. When she first sees Poyo sitting in a round basket, she goes into shock mistakenly thinking he has become shaped like the basket.
