Anime: Scott first appeared in The Scheme Team. After observing Ash's battle against Agatha, Scott recommended that Ash go to the Battle Frontier. He next appeared in Numero Uno Articuno to observe Ash's battle against Noland. After that, Scott appeared at every battle facility to observe Ash's battle against the resident Frontier Brain. He hasn't been seen since Ash defeated Brandon. In Gathering the Gang of Four!, it was revealed that Scott is the owner of the Battle Frontier. According to him, he created the Battle Facilities to expand the art of Pokémon battle. In Pace - The Final Frontier!, Scott asked Ash to be a Frontier Brain after he defeated Pyramid King Brandon, the last Frontier Brain. Ash declined. Due to the fact that he wears sunglasses often, his eyes are almost never seen. Scott is also known for reckless driving. He drives rather fast, regardless of what kind of terrain he is on. Manga: In correspondence with Pokémon Emerald version, Scott appears as the founder of the Battle Frontier in the Emerald chapter of Pokémon Adventures. He also makes a cameo in the Ruby and Sapphire chapter during the fight between Groudon and Kyogre.
Professor Araragi is the resident Pokémon professor of the Isshu region. She is the first main series Pokémon professor who is female. She offers Tsutarja, Pokabu & Mijumaru to prospective trainers. While Araragi is the first female professor in the games, she will not be the first female professor in the anime, being beaten by Professor Ivy of the Orange Archipelago by more than ten years.
Angie is a recurring character in the anime and a member of Team Plasma. Although Angie wears a uniform standard to a female Team Plasma Grunt, her actions indicate that her position is higher than a simple grunt. Her overall appearance is based on the stock art of the female Team Plasma Grunt from Black 2 and White 2.
Initially a mysterious figure, Momiji is the second of TERRA's pilots. She replaced Yohko while waiting for Yohko to regain her memories. A long-haired, somewhat masculine girl, she speaks in the kansai dialect. She's strong willed and a team player. She works part time at a mini-market. She has a crush on Lawson, and for a short period believed that Yohko was attracted to him. However, Yohko herself denied this, and later revealed indirectly that she was attracted to Fluger. Nonomi is a character of the day who appeared in BW109. She is a new Trainer just starting out on her Pokémon journey and was on her way to Nuvema Town to get her Starter Pokémon from Professor Juniper. Weapon: Bud and Fys (Directivity Automagically Floating Prism) A teacher in the academy. She also teaches magic, as she is seen as a powerful magic user herself. She does not like being treated as a child, despite her small stature and her childish personality, but rather as a teacher. Hyaweh tends to wonder if she is going through a phase where she would like to be treated as an adult. Her choice of weapon appears to be what seems to be two floating spheres. Late in the game and anime, she is shown spying for Judas.
