Tomoko Takahase was a an anime only character. She appeared in the episode "Makoto's Friendship! A Girl Who Adores a Pegasus" and was an old friend of Makoto's from the school Makoto attended before transferring to Juuban Municipal Junior High School. Tomoko was an budding story writer who made friends with Makoto when she saved some of Tomoko's manuscripts from a group of bullies, giving Makoto a chance to read them and become really impressed. Tomoko's source of inspiration was a boy on her school soccer team who she had a crush on, but she didn't think he would ever notice her. When she told Makoto this Makoto encouraged her to publish her story so she could get noticed. Her story, Pegasus in the Moonlight, was published and she became a popular author. One day when she was signing copies of her book she spotted her crush in the crowd with another girl and her confidence was dashed; she felt she couldn't write any more. Makoto, Chibiusa (who loved her book as it featued a Pegasus just like the one Chibiusa had been in contact with), and Usagi went to her house, and Makoto managed to cheer her up, but then she was attacked by Tiger's Eye for her Dream Mirror. During the ensuing battle Tomoko caught sight of Pegasus when Super Sailor Chibi Moon summoned him with Twinkle Yell, and was filled with confidence and inspiration once more. (the Italian version of the plural "You") before saying something or while in battle. Squalo is known as one of the "Vongola's Sword Masters", other being Yamamoto Takeshi. For that reason, Yamamoto somewhat admires him as a awesome swordsman. He was also Yamamoto's tutor. He is supposed to represent the sin of Pride since his name, Superbi, comes from "superbia", Latin term for pride.

Koro-sensei is a teacher for class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School and the main antihero of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. He was responsible for carving out a large chunk of the moon to become a permanent crescent moon and plans to destroy the earth after teaching class 3-E for a year. His name comes from Korosenai (殺���) means "cannot be killed" and sensei, means teacher. Literally, his name means unkillable teacher. Koro-sensei is made up of anti-matter. He will inevitably die in March, whether the students assassinate him or not. It is later revealed that the chance of this happening was less than 1%. Koro-sensei was previously known as the "God of Death." Koro-sensei did not actually destroy the moon, a rat infused with anti-matter did.

Nagisa is seen as one of the weakest students in the class due to his small stature and mediocre physical abilities that are comparable to some of the girls in the class. However, he is actually the most talented to become an assassin out of all the students, something that acknowledged by Korosensei and Karasuma. He is able to draw closer while hiding his bloodlust to make a surprise attack and able to make his opponents falter through his bloodlust alone. Nagisa usually writes Korosensei's weaknesses that at first seem minor (since it doesn't look like major weaknesses), but eventually revealed to be useful since once they're able to almost kill Korosensei because of one of his weaknesses that is the same as the one that Nagisa has written down in his note. Outwardly friendly and polite to his friends and everyone, he hides a somewhat darker side of him as an assassin that won't be able to be found out during daily classes and will only shown during training and assassination time. According to Karasuma, whenever Nagisa unleashes his killing intent, he isn't training and truly goes for a kill. In the end he is the one who bears the burden of killing Koro-sensei.
