He then desperately tries to find a cat in the alleys, but ended up starving and becoming heavily exhausted. In Edolas, he fights against Pantherlily, and claims that, after defeating him, he will make him his cat. When they and all the Exceeds returned to Earthland, Pantherlily decided to stay in Fairy Tail and become Gajeel's cat. He is Levy's partner in the S-Class Test.
