Kudoh is one of the top members of ES.W.A.T. He participates in some training sessions with Deunan and eventually earns her respect. When she and Briareos head to Dr. Gilliam Knute's old lab, Kudoh comes along. After they are betrayed by fellow ES.W.A.T. member Leyton, who is sympathetic towards the O.R.A., Kudoh stays behind, keeping his gun trained on Hades so that Deunan and Briareos can escape. Shortly after this, Kudoh is gunned down by numerous O.R.A. soldiers and collapses dead against the wall of a hallway. Wendy found her as an egg and they have been together ever since. They are very close and Carla sees it as her duty to protect Wendy from danger. Charlés is actually a magical creature, called Exceed, that comes from the world Edolas. The official reason for the Baby-Exceed to be sent to Earthland is to kill the Dragon Slayers. As it turns out, the real reason was to protect them from the destruction of Edolas and the Exceed-kingdom of Extalia. It is also later discovered that she is the Exceed's princess, daughter of Queen Shagotte and as such she possesses the same power as her mother: prevision. Due to that, she always knew of the pretense mission of the Exceed in Earthland and believed it to be her actual mission; to kill Wendy. This causes her a lot of stress and psychological pain during the Edolas arc. Her personality is strict and straight. She disapproves of fooling around. Towards Happy she is very cold at the beginning but starts to soften over time. Especially during the Edolas arc has their relationship improved.

When Mirajane was an S-class mage, she was known as "The Demon." However, due to a past incident involving the death of her younger sister, Lisana, Mirajane somehow lost much of her magical ability and her will to fight. Given the recent event of Elfman regaining his lost abilities and Mirajane's increased confidence, Mirajane may someday regain her abilities and move forward with her life. Mirajane plays a motherly role within the guild, and is often seen running the bar at the guild hall. She has rarely been shown to be in a bad mood, and can tolerate all of the guild's eccentricities. However, there have been a couple events that have disturbed Mirajane, including her discovery of the stealing of an S-Class job by Natsu, Happy and Lucy, and her later disappointment with Laxus following the destruction of the guild building. Mirajane got her name from an online video game Hiro Mashima was playing while he created her.

Wendy can eat air, but can't heal as well in polluted areas. Her magic allows her to heal people from the most serious of injuries, even those caused by a dragon, allowing her to use even a kiss to heal other people and can even counteract other magic; however, there seems to be a limit to how much she can use.

She is something of an airhead and has limited intelligence, due to having low processing power to be able to have high combat abilities and emotions. She weighs 48 kilograms, stands at 159cm, and her wing type is stated to be "Not Variable" and "Super Acceleration". She is sent by Synapse to dispose of Tomoki after he violates one of their rules. However, when she is ordered to eliminate Nymph, she breaks off her chain and betrays Synapse, engaging in combat with Chaos. Astraea has been described as having greater battle capabilities than Ikaros, and possesses two equipments: the super-oscillating photon blade 'Chrysaor', and a shield said to surpass the defensive power of Ikaros' 'Aegis', 'Aegis L'. However, unlike 'Aegis', 'Aegis L' is unable to cover every angle possible, only being able to block certain directions at a time, and it covers about half the area of 'Aegis' in terms of angles. Astraea's weak point is that she was made entirely for close-combat, and thus is extremely disadvantaged against opponents with long-range weapons or attacks, as she has no ranged attacks whatsoever.
Pantherlily is an Exceed that works for the kingdom of Edoras as the Magic Militia's First Division Commander of the Royal Army. He seems to have a grumpy disposition and detests noisy people. He first appears by demanding that Byro and the hyperactive Hughes quiet down. (Although Sugarboy noted that Pantherlily was in a nastier mood than usual). Pantherlily has shown the ability that all Exceed have, Aera. He wields a huge sword and shows massive strengTogether with Akaoni and Majorina, are the three commanders of Bad End Kingdom. His appearance is that of a panther, hence the name "Pantherlily." A defining feature is his unique laugh of "Uruffufu." At the end of the Edolas arc, Pantherlily is sent to Earthland as well as the rest of the Exceed. There he takes on a small 'chibi' form similar to that of Carla and Happy and takes the role of being Gajeel's cat, resulting in all three Fairy Tail dragon slayers having trademark talking cat companions. While he is in his 'chibi' form most of the time, he can still transform into his humanoid form. He refrains from doing this too often however as it drains a lot of magical power from his body. Cana Alberona is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. Her member stamp is on the lower left portion of her abdomen. She is an attractive woman with a short temper who seems to use a type of card magic. Not much else is known about her magic, but it has been shown that she can use it to track people and for fortune telling. She is always shown drinking some kind of alcohol, usually a giant barrel of ale. It is mentioned that she has a pure heart. She is one of the original members of Fairy Tail and has been part of it since she was a child. She is one of the leading figures of Fairy Tail, commanding the guild in the fight against Phantom Lord. Cana is the daughter of Gildarts Clive.
