Mizunokuchi is sadistic dentist and Euphoric user who has been given extra spider-like limbs with dental devices on them and can even turn other part of his body into drills (such as his tongue). He tortures patients by inserting all of his limbs into their mouths and polishing their teeth slowly. Apparently he removed Kagura's lower molars three years ago, but did it as slow as he could so he could see Kagura writhing in pain. Mifuyu Torii is an anime-only character who appears in episode 14 and 15. She is a snowboarder and handles the techniques very well, but whenever someone show expectations from her, she becomes nervous and would run for the hills. When some comtestants in a snowboarding practice tell her that they are expecting her to do her best in the skating competition, she becomes so nervous that she skates away from everyone. Just then, Amu's Guardian Characters sense the presence of her Heart's Egg and go after her, and when they arrive her egg appears and hatches. In order to help her understand what a Guardian Character is, Amu explains to her and introduces her Guardian Characters. Because her strong heart made a strong Guardian Character, Yuu Nikaidou chooses her Guardian Character to be his target of making an Embryo. By making her insecure again, she loses her confidence and Snoppe becomes an X-Character. However, Amu is able to save Snoppe and helps Mifuyu in the competition, where she wins the first prize. Kai is a serious person and doesn't like to joke around like other kids his age. He doesn't talk much or to anyone. When cardfighting, he is shown to be more serious and confident on winning the game without any need of support. Despite his selective mute personality, he has a best friend is, Taishi Miwa. Toshiki Kai main deck focus is the Kagerou clan deck. His trump card is Dragonic Overlord. His strongest and most commonly used cards are normally Flame Dragons. In season 2, Kai main deck focus is the Narukami clan deck. Kai stays with this clan in Season 3, although hasn't given up on his Kagero deck. After seeing how far Aichi has come, Kai now doubts his own strength in comparison and seems to be striving to prove that he's able to keep up. Kai's concerns worsen during the VF High School Tournament and he fears he's falling behind. Previews have him affiliated with the new Link Joker clan.
