Affiliation: Marine Occupation: Vice Admiral Epithet: Garp the Fist Birthday: July 6 Monkey D. Garp is a Marine hero, who was famous for cornering the late Pirate King, Gold Roger numerous times in his career. Garp is considered by Whitebeard as one of the few people that know the seas from the time of Gold Roger. Early on in Luffy's life, he was trained by Garp to become a strong Marine. Luffy was thrown into valleys, left alone in dangerous forests, and tied to balloons over high altitudes, all for the sake of making him stronger. After this he left Luffy and Ace in the care of an Dadan. Garp is first introduced in Koby's mini-series as the Marine Officer in charge of escorting Captain Morgan. However after falling asleep, Morgan makes his escape by striking Garp and taking Helmeppo as a hostage, fleeing on a small dingy. Garp then wakes up unharmed, apparently breaking a cannon in the process of waking up. When Koby begs to chase after the two, Garp allows Koby to pursue them. Upon the boys return they offer themselves to be punished, but Garp instead proposes a different course of action. He states that the pair of them are nothing but trouble and the only way to ensure they still in line is that he takes charge of the pair. He takes them back to Marine HQ where he begins to train them to become great Marine Officers. (Source: One Piece Wikia, Wikipedia)
She is a friend of Sawako's from back when they were in high school, and they were both in the light music club together as part of the band Death Devil. She and Sawako used to try to outdo each other on the guitar. Her stage name is Christina.
Height: 156 cm Weight: 50 kg Blood Type: O Sign: Sagittarius Birthday: November 27 Age: 15-18 Favorite Music: Yui doesn't follow any particular style, and isn't picky. As long as she likes it, anything is OK. Experience with musical instruments: None. Family Structure: Family of four, both parents and younger sister (Ui). Father works for a trading company, gets a lot of overseas assignments and tends to be absent. Because the mother often travels overseas too (helping the father), the daughters have many opportunities to spend time alone together. Dwelling: Single family detached home. Commute to school: Walking. Preferences in clothing: Pants over skirts. Yui is relatively fashion conscious and likes styles featured in teen magazines. She also wears casual clothes such as shorts and T-shirts at home. Her room: Clean, because Ui cleans it. Yui likes small cute things, and keeps stuffed toys and such in her room. The room is painted in girly pastel and pink tones. Favorite food: Anything, as long as it's sweet and delicious. Subjects she is good at: Between low and average and can rarely pass test easily, but has a hard time with questionnaires. Subjects she is bad at: All of them Physical exercise: She can do it, but hates getting tired. Way to pass time when alone: Lazing around at home. Weaknesses and dislikes: Studying. Main character, guitarist, lead vocalist. Having misunderstood that "light music" equals "easy music" (like whistling), she joined the Light Music Club and picked up guitar with absolutely no prior experience. She is the type of person who doesn't read manuals and relies on her own intuition and self-taught approaches. Yui is a girl who's easily distracted by cute things and tasty food. She's a crybaby but cheers up easily if she gets some sweets. She eats a lot of sweets but she does not gain as much as she eats, she said to herself. In many ways some may say she's a child, and making sure she practices is a problem. When Yui takes good care of something, like her electric guitar- Gitah, she sleeps with it, plays, dresses up with it, and even has tea time with it. When she wants to remember something, she forgets everything else. Yui's energy seems to come from cake. She is a clumsy, scatterbrain but optimistic and kind-hearted. Yui gets good grades in school but is easily distracted by trivialities. She has her younger sister Ui, who is very mature and acts as the "older sister" of Yui, to take care of her and keep herself in line. She has a very easy-going nature, but has incredible concentration when hyped, though this is only limited to 3-4 subjects at a time. Despite all her flaws, Yui is still a fundamentally good-hearted girl who openly expresses love with hugs, holding hands and adorable nicknames (most notably "Azu-nyan" for Azusa), and once devoted to something she is loyal to a fault, and can display near-genius levels of competence to the subject of devotion, as shown by her perfect score in the makeup exams to return to the band. She has perfect pitch and thus can tune her guitar by ear flawlessly. She is the group's main vocalist, although she is known to forget her lyrics in mid-performance, as well as overdoing things, making her unable to perform sometimes. Despite being somewhat spotty in front of crowds, she is almost flawless in practice. She is the sort of person who learns by being shown, rather than by having read about it. Yui shows this lack of technical knowledge when she does not know what a palm mute or vibrato is when Azusa suggests the use of one when teaching her, but could use one in her music.
b' Part of the Loki Familia. She is the younger sister of the twins. '
Birthday: January 31 Sign: Aquarius Height: 165cm Weight: 56kg Blood type: B Sawako is the adviser for the wind instrument club at Yui's school. An alumna of the school and a former member of the light music club, she does not want people to know she was formerly a member of a heavy metal band, thus she covers up by being mild and gentle to her co-workers and especially to students. She is forced to be the adviser of the light music club, as Ritsu blackmails her after the girls learn of her past, though it is unknown whether she stopped being the adviser for the wind instrument club as the story progresses. Though she has a mature and gentle demeanor in the school, Sawako, affectionately addressed as "Sawa-chan" by both Ritsu and Yui, displays a totally different, completely authentic character when she is alone with the light music club. In reality, she is a rather wild, lazy and quite an irresponsible teacher who enjoys dressing up the light music club in, sometimes embarrassing, cosplay costumes, much to the dislike of Mio. She names the club band ''After School Tea Time'' after the members take too long deciding on a name themselves, and to maintain the secrecy on her heavy-metal image. She once momentarily pitches in for Yui with her Gibson Flying V electric guitar. (Source: Wikipedia)
