Taku is a normal boy in high school who experiences what all normal boys experience: puberty. No matter how much he denies it, he finds his older sister very attractive and can't stop thinking about having sex with her. Taku does have sex with his older sister, but she informs him that they can't be lovers. In the end, he does find himself a girlfriend.

Taki is a working man who takes care of the cat, Shima. In the begining of the story, it is revealed that he had to recently break up with his boyfriend due a marrige. Taki has a habit of leaving his bag open while sitting at bus stops. After he finds Shima and Fuji (as cats) in there, he always makes sure to check his bag after arriving home to his apartment due to a fear of finding another cat. He is played by Nakamura Yuuichi in the Drama CD

Initially introduced as one of Gulcasa's five dragon generals, the twenty-five-year-old Russell is a swordsman who shows honor and chivalry towards both his allies and his enemies. He is know for his title as the "Astral Fencer". It is revealed in the fourth chapter that he has been enlisted in the Imperial Army by force—he was once part of the original Royal Army, but when Gulcasa captured Russell's home (Castle Karona, sitting right on the border of Bronquia) he was impressed by the swordsman's abilities and spirit and asked Russell to join the Imperial Army so that Gulcasa wouldn't have to kill him. Russell refused, but rather than lose such a strong fighter, Gulcasa imprisoned Russell's fiancée, Flone, with a promise to let her go once the war ended. If the player rescues Flone, Russell can be recruited, but otherwise he dies in the Royal Army's attack on Karona.
