Nain is the assistant scientist of Dr. Collie working on the program of Bio-Warriors for Lord Jaguar. She makes her debut and only appearance in the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly. She works in a laboratory on a remote island, in Mei Queen Castle, along with many other scientists. When Trunks manages to correctly describe one of the functions of the equipment within the Bio-Warrior laboratory, she compliments him on his knowledge. After Goten and Trunks assume that Bio-Broly is defeated, a Culture Fluid fills the laboratory and claims the lives of many scientists. However, Nain is rescued by Krillin. Nami is a classmate of Ichitaka, Iori, Teratani, and others, and is generally the mood-maker of the group whenever they are all together on a trip, school project, etc. She is very energetic and cheerful and loves to express herself, though her tomboyish and carefree attitude can make others feel awkward at times. She comes from a very rich family, as it is evident halfway through the manga when the group comes over to her house to organize a group project. Some interpret her as a female pervert, since she has tried to get people to sleep together and has shown off her body numerous times.

Nami represents Juroujin. The two are twins and the youngest members of the club, as the only elementary students. They have a tendancy to fall over and go to sleep if they expend even the smallest amount of energy, which they seem to lack, except when they transform in which case they are full of energy. Because they represent the two gods Fukurokuju and Juroujin (who are the gods of luck and fortune) they are almost the same person. Details about the twin's relationship are in episode 6.

Nami is a girl who always is seen clinging to Rinka ever since Rinka saved her one day. She is always very ecstatic when it comes to anything concerning Rinka which often causes her to scream out how amazing Rinka is. She has shown herself to be jealous of others who may seem to be more than just friends which could be because she is in love with Rinka.
