A penguin who's always seen accompanying Shouma. He is perpetually hungry, eating anything and everything in reach. He has a vendetta against bugs, particularly cockroaches. He sprays them with bug spray whenever possible. He is sometimes seen spraying things other than bugs, hinting he may just like spraying things.
Hayao Kakizaki was born in Japan on 1991. He was assigned in the Vermilion Squadron under the command of Hikaru Ichijyo. He pilots a brown-white VF-1A Valkyrie in the television series and in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? movie, he pilots a green-striped VF-1A Valkyrie. Among the pilots of the Vermillion Squadron, Kakizaki is the least serious. His characterization adds to an already heavy laden humorous anime even more comic relief. He is portrayed also as being a laid back character, which often at times would endanger him while out battling the Zentradi. Compared to his teammates, Kakizaki is also the least experienced pilot, and from time-to-time, Hikaru and Max had to save him from being killed.
Hayao is a 30-year-old salaryman who has yet to lose his virginity. Due to his lack of personal skills he is resigned to using a blow-up wife to release his sexual tension. Hayao is the subject of Daigorou and Macaron's mission.
Sidekick to Ayako Mano. She looks very much like Azusa Kanzaki. Since she never mentioned her actual name, Madoka dubs her with the name "Azusa 2." She is very much like Azusa, both in appearance and in skill, which means that she too is a klutz at times and not very skilled in fighting. She does seem to have a bit more experience in combat, although not much of a difference compared to Azusa Kanzaki. (Source: Wikipedia) Later in the series, it's revealed that her name is really Azusa, as mentioned by Chiaki. (Mamono Hunter Youko, Episode 6, 21:27: "Azusa, how did this happen when you were with her!?" Her name can be heard clearly.)
