Rein uses playing cards as her weapon and is a childhood friend of Sayuri. The Hida family took her in after her father disappeared. She enjoys playing card games and does not mind gambling, due to her familiarity with handling cards. Rein also has a love of words, and many times, she is heard speaking a sentence using one word and splitting it three ways though they all mean the same thing, such as when she called Sayuri "an idiot, a moron, and a complete dingdong." Rein has an extremely maternal side that is shown when an abandoned baby turns up at the Gokujou Seitokais dormitory. This is said to be due to the fact that her father abandoned her when she was very young, making her understand well how it feels to not be loved by anyone. Sometimes Pucchan often refers her as "little-kid-senpai" due to her childish acts and nature. Rein also cheats quite a lot because she doesnt want to lose (consecutive losses means separation). Though she has expressed a dislike for her father, claiming to want to hit him if her ever shows up again, she actually still loves him deep in her heart. Hitoshi Aoshima is a high school boy who has the power of time-slipping 10 years into the future. Although he can not control this ability, Wagatsuma Ai appears as his future wife there. Later on, he sees different kinds of future of his friends and helps them out to avoid the cruel fate they were supposed to get. He is a member of DX Brigade, formed by Komatsu Masao. He is in a Male Volleyball Club, but since he is bad at sports, he is a forever-benched player.
Sylvia Shimotsuma is a half-Dutch-half-Japanese transfer student in Zaishou High School. She has a crush on Aoshima, though Aoshima only has eyes for Wagatsuma. She is the tsundere type. She is a huge japanophile and anime fan, especially toward KyoAni works.
Wagatsuma Ai is a popular girl in school due to her looks and grades. Many boys confessed to her, but all were denied. In Hitoshi Aoshima's time-slips, she appears as his future wife. She is a member of the swimming team. She enjoys TV dramas a lot. Her dream is to become veterinarian and protect endangered species all around the world. That's why she studies very hard.
Yurie's love interest and sole member of the Calligraphy Club, he is extremely forgetful of anything not related to Calligraphy, including Yurie.
