NYPD, Section 2 Division 2 Team 2: A temporary member of Section 2, on assignment from the NYPD. Sent to observe a labor unit with the purpose of helping build one for New York City. Highly capable in all duties. Her piloting skills are better than Ohta's, but was assigned to backup duty since acclimating the Labor to a temporary officer would be a poor decision. (Also, keeping Ohta in line is not a job for an idiot). Much like Nagumo, Kanuka is very by-the-book. She is usually all business and sometimes cold to the members of SV.2 with the exception of Noa. Kanuka was born in Hawaii but apparently moved to New York later on. When she travels back to New York, she stops in Hawaii to see her grandmother whom she loves dearly. Leader of Division 1. She is highly regarded by everyone in the police force and has a solid relationship with all of her coworkers. This is especially true of her relationship with Goto, which is difficult to sum up but can be described as interesting. Nagumo is a by-the-book style captain, as opposed to Goto who will often do many unconventional things to meet a goal. Possibly the greatest troublemaker in Nube's class, Miki Hosokawa is known best for her big mouth, her vast spiritual knowledge...and her big bust! At the start, Miki was a mere tattletale, consistently chatting on and on about various rumors and such, especially if Nube was involved. But after a near-fatal encounter with a tattletale youkai, she begins to tone down her talking and starts focusing on more spiritual matters. Miki begins to do consistent research on various spirit and youkai manners, to the point where even her teacher came to her for things he may not know! While most of this is merely knowledge, she consistently looks for supernatural means to assist her, either for her rumor mill or to get rich quick. One of her most important spiritual developments was gaining the ability to become a rokurokubi, where she can spiritually stretch her head and neck to go undercover to anywhere she chooses. Extremely vain about her physicality, Miki prides in her growing buxom figure (she grows from a B-cup to an F-cup over the course of the series) and flaunts it whenever she can. The "juvenile delinquent" of the class, Katsuya Kimura acts much worse than he really is toward Nube and his other classmates. At the start of the series, Katsuya is consistently portrayed as a loner, either due to being misunderstood by his classmates, his own cowardice or from his delinquent behaviors such as smoking or stealing charity for a good cause. But as the series goes on, he slowly comes to grips with himself and joins in with Nube and his friends where he is one of the main members of the class. Katsuya is a huge pervert towards sexy females, an attribute that gets him into a huge idolization of Miki (though she sees treats him like her dog). He also finds himself consistently with the worst grades in class alongside both Hiroshi and Makoto. Section 2 Division 2 Team 1: The bubbly, perky, red-headed labor otaku from Hokkaid�. The main character of the show, Noa is usually the one at the center of the action. Noa loves her labor much like a pet and named it "Alphonse", a name previously held by a pet dog and a pet cat she had while growing up. She's impulsive and doesn't think things through, but not nearly as much as Ohta. Noa is arguably the best pilot in Division 2, although both Clancy and Kumagami have shown extreme talent as well but rarely pilot. She has a natural affinity for labors and gets 110% out of it, much to her partner's amazement. She can drink quite a bit more than her coworkers, and recovers from hangovers much faster since her family runs a liquor store. (Source: Wikipedia)
The loose cannon of the Special Vehicles Second Division, Ota constantly gets himself in over his head which leads to some humorous, interesting, and sometimes even good outcomes. Ota has a deep love and obsession with guns and although he the type to shoot first and ask questions later, he is actually a really good shot. He is usually the pilot of Second Division's Unit 2 Patlabor.
