It was at that time that Heike met the Code:Emperor, who were using his flames to protect fellow power users. Enchanted by the Emperor's strength, Heike joined him, and with 2 others (making them a group of four), founded Eden, an independent organization with focus on the research of special powers. Heike's shown to have a berserk side, which Yukihina describes as being akin to a mad dog, in contrary to his usual composure and just attitude.
