Another officer who works with Megure and has a crush on Sato which is somewhat awkwardly requited. Takagi has an appearance of ineffectual nervousness, but he's not as useless as he seems. He is quick to assess a situation and take immediate and decisive action when necessary are points in his favor. Takagi's full name and kanji comes directly from his voice actor Wataru Takagi. Created for the anime (but later appearing in the manga), the character was originally an unnamed police detective, but during one recording session Chafurin (Inspector Megure) read the line "You, what's your name?" to the character, and Takagi adlibbed the response "It's Takagi, sir!", and he has been referred to as such ever since.
Kotobuki's friend and classmate. She doesn't want people to call her by her first name, so she goes by her nickname "Mori-chan". She supported the relationship between Konoha and Kotobuki, so she was angry when she heard Konoha abandoned Kotobuki.
Aoko's father. He is the head inspector of the Kaitou Kid Task Force. He is known for his colorful, loud curses. He mistakenly believes that the current Kaitou Kid is the one that he started chasing after more than 20 years ago. Mouri Kogorou from Aoyama's Detective Conan physically resembles Nakamori. Section 2 Division 2 Team 1: Son of the head of Shinohara Heavy Industries, the company that makes 90% of the labors in the world. After a falling out with his father, Asuma joined the police force and specifically requested to be assigned to the labor units. Smart, honest to a fault, and sometimes a bit hot-headed, Asuma is a very good officer, although he's often used by Goto as a lackey. Noa and Hiromi's commanding officer in the field, he has a soft spot for the former. Goto recognizes Asuma has some talent in diverse fields, as can be seen in various places throughout the series. Leader of Division 1. She is highly regarded by everyone in the police force and has a solid relationship with all of her coworkers. This is especially true of her relationship with Goto, which is difficult to sum up but can be described as interesting. Nagumo is a by-the-book style captain, as opposed to Goto who will often do many unconventional things to meet a goal.
