Being a shy, timid girl, Haruka is set up with Takayuki by her friend, Mitsuki, while she is in high school. The two quickly become close, and develop an intimate relationship. She takes in an interest in collecting picture books. Very early on in the series, she is involved in a serious car accident and ends up in a coma. The main thrust of the story begins when she awakens three years later. She is afflicted with anterograde amnesia, and because of her delicate psyche, her family and Takayuki conceal the truth that three years have passed, which forms much of the tension in the series. Mitsuki is friends with both Takayuki and Haruka, but secretly she has feelings for Takayuki. In high school she was a competitive swimmer, but shortly after Haruka's accident, she finds herself leaving swimming to tend to Takayuki. She throws herself at Takayuki when he fails to climb out of his depression, and reveals her feelings for him. Mitsuki is well-meaning, but suppresses her feelings, allowing them to bottle up and explode in dangerous ways. Wendy can eat air, but can't heal as well in polluted areas. Her magic allows her to heal people from the most serious of injuries, even those caused by a dragon, allowing her to use even a kiss to heal other people and can even counteract other magic; however, there seems to be a limit to how much she can use.
He is another one of the S-classed mages who puts everyone to sleep every time he comes to the guild mainly because he hates to be seen. Makarov is the only person who is left unaffected by his magic but it still makes him tired. Laxus states that he has seen his face as well. Mystogan carries a mysterious staff that has not been expanded upon yet. He has a bandit type mask covering the bottom half of his face and a cap covering the top with only a slit being shown between his eyes. In chapter 120, when Mystogan attempts to stop Laxus and the hall of thunder, Laxus' lightning attack causes Mystogan's mask to burn off revealing a face that resembles Jellal's. However, he denies that he is Jellal although he admits that he knew him. Mystogan is actually the Edolas version of Jellal, and the renegade prince of Edolas. In chapter 189, it was revealed that Mystogan was saved as a baby by Pantherlilly which caused his exile from Extalia. Later on in chapter 268, Jellal took over the role of Mystogan and joins Fairy Tail. It is yet unknown how long he would stay with them. Note: Mystogan's face is a major spoiler. Aria is part of the Element 4 group as well as it strongest member. He is a very large man that towers over the other members. Despite his large appearance he seems to cry a lot. Aria's magic is called Drain which drains it's opponent of his or her magic power. Once it's drained it floats in the air and eventually disappears. The greater the magic power of the opponent the more damage Drain causes. His power is so great that he has to keep his eyes closed to contan it and only opens them for the strongest of opponents. Unlike most other members of Fairy Tail, she joined the guild as an employee rather than as a Mage. When she was young, she was turned into a snake by an evil wizard. She was turned back by Makarov after the master realized that she was actually a human. Kinana had no recollection of being a snake when she was first turned back, but recently her memory as a snake has slowly resurfaced, in which she hears a voice asking to hear her thoughts. The person calling out for her is actually Cobra and she used to be his snake.
