Classmate of Natsumi, known as Mutsumi Hojo in the manga. A poet/artist/philosopher who skips class a lot. He has his own radio show which Natsumi listens to. His partner is Sergeant Major Kururu (Kururu-s�ch�), who gave him a pen that allows him to draw anything and make it appear. In the manga, Mutsumi first met the Sergeant Major when the Keronian tried to strike off on his own and turn the students of Saburo's school into his servants. The reason that the two get along so well is because they share the same wavelength. Saburo is a genius, who got a perfect score of 300 out of 300 on an IQ test, and is excellent at sports as well. He has a hard time fitting in with his classmates (especially the male ones) because of this. Although Mutsumi is extremely clever and observant, he seems unaware of Natsumi's crush on him. Every time he comes near Natsumi, he is pushed aside by a jealous Giroro. Mutsumi also makes a few appearances in the anime series Seven of Seven. He claims he's not going to play at being friends with anyone, and when questioned on this in Chapter 1, states clearly that he would not hesitate to kill any one of them. He makes frequent reference to his yakuza background, and seems adamant at presenting this sort of "lone wolf" attitude. He does not simply not want to make friends, but considers it not worth his time and beneath him. When he does interract with the others (by choice or otherwise) his attitude is combative and irritable. He's easily angered, often threatening and/or insulting other people when they disagree with or complain about his actions. He is particularly sensitive about his appearance, and it is suggested that it would not be out of the question for him to react violently if someone were to use the word "babyface" in reference to him. This is likely due to his status as the heir to the largest yakuza syndicate in the country. People would expect a big tough guy to lead a yakuza family, but Kuzuryuu's appearance is the opposite of that. Kuzuryuu states that he wants to be strong on his own, and not to simply rely on his family's power to get ahead in life. His goal is to be strong enough to lead his family, rather than to be strong because he leads his family. Kuzuryuu is one of the few people who survive at the end.

She is very kind and thoughtful, and she cares deeply for her friends. She is also rather gullible and innocent. While very friendly, her commands are rather assertive and the other students are compelled to respect her authority. She also comes off as a naive, and sometimes innocent, person. Sonia can also read and write 30 different languages. Sonia is one of the few people who survive at the end.

When going from place to place, he is usually on his bike. Yosuke is the most vocal of the investigation team, and is the one often to create theories on the murders as well as piece evidence together. Although it often falls on the player to decipher the clues Yosuke ponders, his deductive skills allow him to create solid theories, and he is the self-appointed second in command, often saying what the player is unable to. His Persona is Jiraiya of The Magician Arcana, whose head vaguely resembles that of a cartoon frog, and wears a white disco suit with a distinctive "V" on its chest along with a red scarf. Jiraiya uses wind spells and is also able to use minor healing spells. Once his Social Link, The Magician Arcana, is maxed out, Jiraiya will evolve into Susanoo. Yosuke's Shadow takes the form of a cartoon frog with a body on top; the body and frog resemble his Persona. It represents his resentment of living in a small country town with little to do, as well as his inner wish for something exciting to happen. The Protagonist helps Yosuke face his issues regarding his sadness over his unrequited feelings for Saki Konishi, the second victim of the murders, in the course of the Magician S.Link. Also in one of the Social Links, Yosuke told the Protagonist that he was fighting Shadows for no reason. He just feel that it is the right thing to do. He doesn't even know what he is fighting for, similar to Junpei Iori on Persona 3.

She comes off as very confident, but in fact has self esteem issues, comparing her photographs to those of her mother, a famous war photographer. Her mother was away from home most of her life taking pictures out of the country, but her father was a very poor parent, and she had to take over most of the housework, so she has a generally higher expectation of men, but she doesn't dislike them. Koizumi wants to help as many people as she can, however, if you're being impolite, then she won't hesitate to either scold you or let you suffer consequences. Koizumi hates people who lack manners, but it is never said that she hates men. She at first thought of her title of photographer as stupid compared to everyone else's. She is killed by Peko in Chapter 2, after being hit with a baseball bat in the head.

She often helps Hajime Hinata during school trials and provides important points. Nanami can also be stern when she tells people to do things and becomes a lot more lively when discussing games. She enjoys any kind of video game, even if she thinks they're terrible - with the exception of dating sims, the only genre she is bad at. Major Spoiler Nanami is actually revealed to be an AI created by Alter Ego to be a mole for the Future Foundation. She is the culprit of Chapter 5, where she is tricked into accidentally killing Komaeda. Her being an AI is actually hinted at early on during the story. Her personal quirks such as her superhuman ability to concentrate and analyse, ability to sleep while standing, her lack of knowledge about the outside world and her long pauses before speaking. During the events of Chapter 6, she fuses with Hinata and they break Junko's arguments.
