Birthday: April 1 Like Nadia, Jean is fourteen and an orphan, but he has a completely different personality and interests. He is very generous, patient, friendly, and devoted to the things he loves, which are his friends and the love for science. He is also genius inventor, in fact he is capable of creating complex machines at a very young age. Despite being somewhat awkward when it comes to social graces around the opposite sex, Jean is genuinely well-behaved and is nice to everyone--even Gargoyle finds something to admire about his courage and cleverness. He becomes Nadia’s closest friend, and later on, her lover, as a result of the unlikely relationship that develops between them over the course of their around-the-world adventure. Aside from this, she is unaware of her origins, although she suspects she might be from Africa. Having grown up in a circus under the unloving care of her ringmaster, Nadia has developed a vicious animosity toward grown-ups. She also opposes killing of any kind--in fact she angrily refuses to show Nemo any gratitude when he guns down a Neo-Atlantean to save her from being shot, accusing him of "murdering in cold blood." In addition, she is a strict vegetarian, declaring that humans have no right to feed off animals, while turning a deaf ear to her friends' suggestions that they eat meat out of hunger. Stubborn and bad-tempered though she is, Nadia is actually very insecure and fears that everyone will betray her. As a result of her growing love for Jean, however, she learns valuable lessons about respect, love, friendship, and faith.
Aquarius, "The Water Bearer" is a long-haired mermaid that can only be summoned into a body of water. She is selfish and dislikes Lucy, often attacking both Lucy and Lucy's enemies with a torrent of water. The key of Aquarius has been destroyed by Lucy in order to summon the king of the spirits during the fight against the dark guild Tartaros. Meaning that she won't be able to meet Lucy again. Pantherlily is an Exceed that works for the kingdom of Edoras as the Magic Militia's First Division Commander of the Royal Army. He seems to have a grumpy disposition and detests noisy people. He first appears by demanding that Byro and the hyperactive Hughes quiet down. (Although Sugarboy noted that Pantherlily was in a nastier mood than usual). Pantherlily has shown the ability that all Exceed have, Aera. He wields a huge sword and shows massive strengTogether with Akaoni and Majorina, are the three commanders of Bad End Kingdom. His appearance is that of a panther, hence the name "Pantherlily." A defining feature is his unique laugh of "Uruffufu." At the end of the Edolas arc, Pantherlily is sent to Earthland as well as the rest of the Exceed. There he takes on a small 'chibi' form similar to that of Carla and Happy and takes the role of being Gajeel's cat, resulting in all three Fairy Tail dragon slayers having trademark talking cat companions. While he is in his 'chibi' form most of the time, he can still transform into his humanoid form. He refrains from doing this too often however as it drains a lot of magical power from his body. Cana Alberona is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. Her member stamp is on the lower left portion of her abdomen. She is an attractive woman with a short temper who seems to use a type of card magic. Not much else is known about her magic, but it has been shown that she can use it to track people and for fortune telling. She is always shown drinking some kind of alcohol, usually a giant barrel of ale. It is mentioned that she has a pure heart. She is one of the original members of Fairy Tail and has been part of it since she was a child. She is one of the leading figures of Fairy Tail, commanding the guild in the fight against Phantom Lord. Cana is the daughter of Gildarts Clive.
