A member of Arc Aile who, like Cisqua, chose to use weapons rather than Edel Raid, Maina is an old friend of Cisqua. She appears in an episode of the anime to bring Ren back to HQ as the main Arc Aile trio uses the disguise of a vacation to help find Edel Garden. It turns out she was controlling a Sting Raid that was attacking people on the ship through song, but in the end Cisqua uses the song against her and has to kill her to prove her dedication to Ren. Cisqua also claims that Maina is the better sniper, but worse at everything else.
Maina is the mother of Moena and part of Angel Blade.
Birthday: September 18 Blood type: A Height: 147cm Weight: 36kg Menma is a girl who suddenly appears several years after her death to Jinta and asks him to reunite their group of friends so her wish can be granted. Yet, she does not seem to remember what is her wish, but she knows she has to reunite her friends in order to remember. Despite being "dead", she is a very positive, energetic and lively person. According to Jinta, she is quite selfless and cries very often for others when they are hurt or upset, but not for herself. Jinta calls her "the beast of the summer" as he relates her to being a manifestation of his stress instead of a ghost girl. Matsuyuki admitted his love to her on the day that she died; however, she didn't return his confession in favor of chasing after Jinta. It is hinted that she has feelings for Jinta, and only Jinta is able to see her. This is confirmed when Menma wrote a letter for Jinta, which read, "I love you, Jin-tan. It's the "I want to marry you!" type of "I love you."" Menma is able to reveal her presence to her friends by carrying objects, flickering the lights, etcetera. She is also able to communicate with them by writing in her diary. She seems to think that her wish was to send a rocket to Heaven with a note to Jinta's mother, so the reunited Super Peace Busters attempt to create one. Menma also wishes to be reincarnated after passing on so she can be in the world again, back with her friends. Without her, Menma's family is falling apart. Her mother is unable to move on from her death. Her father, who is hinted at being abusive, wants their family to overcome the grief. He does this by hiding all of Menma's possessions, yet it does her mother very little good. Her younger brother barely remembers her but wishes that their family could move on. He feels neglected by his mother since she is still stuck on Menma.
Macha is the cat character that appears in .hack//SIGN and other .hack series. Although she appears to be a typical hacker or Vagrant AI, she is actually an alternate form of the Sixth Phase Macha the Temptress. She lures Tsukasa to a secret area, where Morganna can then manipulate him. After the events of SIGN she takes on the form Mia who resembles an older version of herself dressed as a warrior, and goes on adventures with Elk to find aromatic grass because Elk resembles the boy in her dreams(Tsukasa) who gave her aromatic grass in the first place. In .Hack//GU Endrance(an adult Elk) has the power to summon her true form into battle.
Hanzo is an 18-year old Jounin ninja from the Cloud Hidden Village whom has trained in the art of ninjutsu from the moment he could stand. He decided to become a Hunter in order to find the elusive Hermit's Scroll. After the first part of the exam, which is a marathon, Hanzo is easily able to converse while running--most of the others are breathless and struggling. In the second test, featuring cooking, he is the only one to know what 'sushi' is. He is the third candidate to clear the deadly traps and puzzles of the Trick Tower. When several people are stranded in Lippo's 'bonus stage', Hanzo takes the lead in getting them out. In the final test of the Hunter Exam, Hanzo is forced to battle Gon. His speed, strength, and battle experience easily exceed that of Gon. However, the only way to pass the final test to is force your opponent to admit defeat--Gon refuses to do so even after being severely beaten. Hanzo breaks Gon's arm to force him to admit defeat, but Gon still refuses. Noting the lack of hate in Gon's eyes after this act, Hanzo realizes he actually has come to like Gon. He willingly bows out of the battle, giving Gon the victory needed for him to pass the final test. Hanzo was examinee #294 during the 287th Hunter Exam. It is later stated by Wing that Hanzo learned Nen after the Hunter Exam. A longtime friend of Helmut's and a former member of the Mach Storm team, Haldo is now a transport pilot who hauls goods in his Gustav. He still supports the team by offering them work, and has helped them out on several occasions. He provided Sigma with his Leostriker, and later helped smuggle the team out of the city after being imprisoned by Alpha.
