An odd guy who is always dressed in a Nyanmaru costume, claiming he is Nyanmaru even though they pointed out to him there is a zipper on his back. He is the only other confirmed "Rare Kind" and has the ability to nullify other powers. He's rather crafty, and takes advantage of the Code:Breakers (namely, Ogami and Toki) quite often when they move into his Shibuya mansion. Although Shibuya's not in possession of any special powers, he's still an extremely able fighter. He trains Ogami Rei and Toki in preparations for the battle against "The Seeking One," and forces them to call him "master." Shibuya's later revealed to be "The Seeking One"'s sword teacher and Sakura's biological father. He wears his costume to prevent Sakura's memory from awakening, and wishes for her live a normal life, a fate usually denied to a Rare Kind. Only Rui knows his secret, and often uses this to threaten him. Like Sakura, when he temporarily loses his Rare Kind's power, he takes a miniature form of himself. In the battle between the Re:Codes and the Code:Breakers, Shibuya remained on a neutral stance, and didn't participate in the fight until "The Seeking One" had retrieved the Pandora box. In the next arc, he temporarily removed his costume and rescued Sakura, Ogami and Haruto from the Code:Breakers.
Birthday: October 26 Yui Hongo is the Priestess of Seiryuu. An intelligent and mature girl, she is a tenth grade student and Miaka Yūki's best friend. A passionate person at heart, she tends to see the world in black and white terms and is easily infuriated with perceived betrayal. Yui is confident and bold with everything she does, but longs for someone to take care of her. It is revealed in the manga that Yui cut her hair to avoid all the attention she was getting from boys. Yui is initially transported to "The Universe of Four Gods" with Miaka, but almost immediately returns to the real world and becomes the one who reads the book in order for events in the world to progress. However, she becomes trapped in the book while trying to help Miaka return to the real world. Afterwards, bandits capture Yui and knock her unconscious. When she regains consciousness, she believes she has been raped and, distraught, attempts to kill herself. Nakago rescues her and convinces her that Miaka is responsible for Yui's misfortunes, leaving Yui unaware that Nakago had saved her before the incident involving the bandits and that she had not been raped at all. He manipulates Yui into becoming the Priestess of Seiryū, convincing her that it will allow Yui to take revenge on Miaka. She eagerly agrees, swearing to fight Miaka and to take away her lover, Tamahome, whom Yui has become attracted to. After succeeding in summoning Seiryū, Yui uses her first wish to seal away Suzaku's powers, preventing the god from being summoned and the Celestial Warriors from using their powers. Her second wish is to take Miaka and herself back to their world, hoping to separate Miaka and Tamahome, but Tamahome also arrives in their world with them. Upon learning that Nakago had been using her all along, she has a change of heart and redeems herself by using her third and last wish to disable the seal on Suzaku, allowing Miaka to summon it, but she is absorbed by Seiryū afterwards. After summoning Suzaku, Miaka used her first wish to rescue Yui, and they became friends again. After the events of the "Universe of the Four Gods", Yui enters a long-term relationship with Tetsuya Kajiwara, a friend of Keisuke Yūki, who fell in love with her while following her journey when reading the book.
Birthdate: February 17th, 1981 Zodiac sign: Aquarius Height: 181cm Blood type: O Chiaki is twenty-one years old and a 3rd-year piano student at Momogaoka Music Academy at the start of the series. He is an accomplished pianist and violinist, but is also known to be a perfectionist and highly critical of himself and others. He comes from a distinguished and well-off family, and is a fairly good cook. He seems to think that most "poor" people (such as Sakura Saku) are like the little match girl. While he dreams of studying abroad and becoming a famous conductor like his mentor, Sebastiano Viella, he must overcome his fear of flying and the sea to do so (he finally did with help of Nodame's hypnosis). He is dismayed to discover that the freakish but talented girl, Nodame, lives in the apartment next door to him. However, he develops a sort of empathy with Nodame as he discovers her hidden potential to be a great pianist, and he begins to transcend his perfectionism and begins to enjoy her music and the music of others. Despite his constant irritation towards Nodame, he eventually develops romantic feelings towards her and he chooses to find a work as a conductor in Paris, where he is going to study. As Chiaki realizes his life's ambition to become a conductor, he also finds that he needs Nodame's support and that he cannot move on without her. He also appears to have fear of being abandoned and surpassed, the former comes from being abandoned by his father as a young boy. Afraid of being abandoned, he often abandons other people instead, especially Nodame. Also he's constantly afraid of being surpassed by Nodame, trying to go even further from her, which leaves her miserable as she is trying to catch up to him. He also can be considered as insensitive.
A senior, as well as a former student council president. She only appeared in the PC version of To Heart 2, where she attempted to pair up Takaaki (the main character) and Sasara Kusugawa (the female character added in the PC version). In To Heart 2, she was notable for using the trademark tendencies of others, e.g., Lucy Maria Misora's "ruu". Her full name (which was identified only in this game) is Maako Asagiri. A brash, bespectacled girl with braided hair who has rather vivid bishnen sexual fantasies. Her apparent role in the anime is to provide comic relief from the side of the girls. Although her physical attributes manage to attract the attentions of the Baka Trio every now and then, the sight of her face is enough to put an end to any perverted thoughts they may have.
