Gender: Female Age: 24 Height: 159 cm Weight: 48 kg Not known to show much emotion, Machi seems to be one of the most cold members of the Genei Ryodan. The only person she has shown some feeling to was Kuroro. Hisoka seems to have an occasional interest with her, although it's hard to see whether it's genuine, given Hisoka's unpredictability. Machi also doesn't appear to be interested a single bit, spurning his advances on all occasions. Machi is one of the Genei Ryodan that originated from Ryūseigai. Nen Ability: Machi's nen transforms into thin wispy-long threads in which she uses in a variety of ways, including seaming together old wounds to heal them, repairing back dislodged limbs (like what she did for Hisoka), and forming a noose that can strangle enemies with a tug. Her thread's strength is inversely proportional to the length. The longer the thread she makes, the easier it is to break.
From his appearance, Shalnark seems to be a guileless and normal boy. However, see him in action with the rest of the Genei Ryodan and that thought is dispelled. Shalnark is one of the most intelligent and quick-thinking members in the group —being adept at using the computer and at information gathering, providing the brains behind the brawn. Shalnark is also a Hunter, so he has the ability to gain access to certain information that could be potentially useful in the Genei Ryodan. He has the member number 9. In the Dark Continent Expedition arc, Chrollo is using his Black Voice ability during his fight with Hisoka, implying that Shalnark lent him this ability. In chapter 357, Shalnark is seen talking on the phone with Chrollo discussing their plan to travel to the Dark Continent with the Kakin and steal valuables from the Royal Princes. After expressing excitement about the fact that the Troupe will be gathering after so long, he takes note that Kortopi has been taking a long time in the nearby bathroom. He then goes to check on Kortopi only to find Hisoka, who tosses him Kortopi's severed head. Shocked, Shalnark cries out and is also killed by Hisoka only moments later.
Shizuku is member number 8 in the Genei Ryodan. She has been described as being a natural airhead, seeing as how some of her actions do not point towards her being very bright. Shizuku is quite forgetful. Once she forgets something, she won't remember it. Her opponents are often fooled by her unassuming and blurred appearance —but this has often proved to be fatal for them once she enters in combat. Shizuku is also left handed. Nen Ability - Deme-chan (Blinky): Shizuku uses her nen to create a self-styled "living" vacuum cleaner she names "Deme-chan" that is able to consume any inanimate matter under her command. This has proven very useful in many occasions for cleaning up evidence that the members leave behind, especially blood and dead corpses. She also uses the razor sharp teeth on the "mouth" as a weapon when in combat. Anything sucked up into her vacuum cleaner cannot be retrieved, except for the last material that was sucked in.
Gender: Male Age: 17 (beginning); 19 (current) Height: 171 cm Weight: 59 kg Birthday: April 4 Zodiac: Aries Hair color: blonde Eye color: blue (1999); brown (manga & 2011); scarlet (when angered) Blood type: AB Nen type: Conjuration; Specialization (when his eyes are Scarlet) Abilities: Holy Chain, Dowsing Chain, Chain Jail, Judgment Chain Kurapika is a member of the Kurta tribe who were massacred by the Phantom Troupe (The Spiders) 4 years prior the Hunter exam. The Kurta tribe was an isolated group of people whose eyes would turn scarlet when angered or excited. These scarlet eyes were known to be beautiful, being one of the seven most beautiful in the world. Because of this, the Kurta tribe was constantly pursued and eventually massacred. The eyes of the tribe members were all taken away during the massacre. Kurapika is so far the only known survivor with a heart bent on revenge. He strives to have his revenge against the Phantom Troupe as well as recover the eyes of his tribe members. Despite having a heart full of hatred, Kurapika is very kind and loyal towards his friends. He is an extremely intelligent person but at the same time reckless. Kurapika is from the materialization nen group and from determination, increased the power of his nen ability to the point that it was formidable against the Phantom Troupe. Kurapika can conjure a unique weapon — five chains that extend from each finger on his right hand. Some of the fingers were specially designed to deal vengeance on the Phantom Troupe. To increase his effectiveness against the formidable Phantom Troupe, Kurapika places strict Limitations on the usage of his chains. The purpose of the chain on Kurapika's index finger has yet to be revealed. Kurapika's Techniques Holy Chain (ç™’ã™è¦ªæŒ‡ã®éŽ– ホーリーãƒェーン The Healing Thumb Chain): Type Conjuration and Enhancement Shaped like a cross, it cures wounds by drawing from Enhancement abilities. When Kurapika is in his Specialist state, its ability is Enhanced and can heal serious injuries within seconds. Chain Jail (æŸç¸›ã™ã‚‹ä¸æŒ‡ã®éŽ– ãƒェーンジェイル The Restraining Middle Finger Chain): Type Conjuration, Emission, and Manipulation Shaped like a hook, it wraps around Spiders and restricts their movement. Also forcefully causes its prisoners to enter Zetsu, shutting off their aura and preventing the use of Nen abilities. Escape from the Chain Jail is only possible through brute force. Kurapika imposed a limitation onto this chain, it can only be used to deal with members of the Phantom Troupe. If this condition is violated, Kurapika will die. This condition was needed in order to increase the strength of the ability. Dowsing Chain (å°Žã薬指ã®éŽ– ダウジングãƒェーン The Guiding Ring Finger Chain): Type Conjuration Shaped like a ball and chain, Kurapika uses this frequently under normal situations, for defensive and offensive purposes. It is also useful for other investigative activities, like determining the location of missing individuals. He also uses this chain to identify if someone is lying. It has a small ball-like weight at the end which moves in the direction of whatever he is dowsing for. Judgment Chain (律ã™ã‚‹å°指ã®éŽ– ジャッジメントãƒェーン The Arbiter Little Finger Chain): Type Conjuration, Emission, and Manipulation The Stake of Retribution, a blade on the end of the Judgment Chain, enters the victim's body and wraps around the heart. Kurapika sets two conditions and if the victim violates either one, the chain crushes the heart, killing them. It can only be used while Kurapika's eyes are scarlet. Kurapika himself has a blade wrapped around his heart, which he used to set the conditions of use for his Chain Jail ability. Emperor Time (絶対時間 エンペラータイムAbsolute Mastery): Type Specialization When Kurapika's eyes shift into scarlet, he changes from a Conjurer to a Specialist. This ability allows him to utilize all the types of Nen to 100% efficiency (for a Conjurer). In the manga, Kurapika explains this using the terms "Level" and "Force/Accuracy". Kurapika's "Levels" in the various Nen categories remain the same during Emperor Time, however, his Force and Accuracy for every category is raised to 100%. Thus, if Kurapika's Level in Conjuration were 10, his Level in Emission (the polar opposite aura type) would be 4, and during Emperor Time, he would be evenly matched against a Level 4 Emitter at 100%. Outside of Emperor Time, his Force and Accuracy in Emission would at most be only be 40%.
The most distinctive thing about Koltopi is his haggard appearance. A thick and messy mane of hair flops down his face, obscuring everything except for an occasional glimpse of his eyeball. Nen Ability: Gallery Fake - "Divine Left Hand, Demonic Right Hand" When Koltopi touches an object with his left hand, his nen ability allows him to make an exact replica of that object with his right hand. He cannot replicate living things except as inanimate objects (making it likely that he created the fake corpses of his fellow members), and Koltopi is also unable to replicate another user's nen. The replicas that he creates vanish after 24 hours, regardless of their size. However, before their disappearance, Koltopi is able to track the movements of each and every copied object (providing that he can touch the originals). In the Dark Continent Expedition arc, Chrollo is using his Gallery Fake ability during his fight with Hisoka, implying that Koltopi lent him this ability. In chapter 357, he is apparently using a nearby bathroom while Shalnark discusses their plans to travel to the New Continent over the phone with Chrollo. Once Shalnark notes that Koltopi has been taking a long time doing so, it is revealed that Hisoka killed him when he emerges with Koltopi's severed head in hand.
Neon is the daughter of the boss of the Nostrade family, who are part of the Mafia. She is a hyper but spoiled young girl, who enjoys collecting body parts (whether they are legal or not) as her hobby. She is constantly protected by many bodyguards by the order of her father. Neon possesses a prophetic ability, which she calls "Lovely Ghost Writer". While she herself does not realize this, it is a form of specialization nen. Her prophecies are 100% accurate and written in the form of a poem. Neon cannot predict her own future, and is able to write a prophecy using only a small amount of information from her client. The prophecy is a automatic process, so what is written on the paper must be asked by the person in question. Neon's father was able to rise up in rank in the Mafia because of her ability. This made her father more interested in her ability then her life. This also made her father overly protected over her, assigning her many bodyguards. Kurapika is one of Neon's bodyguards. Later in the story, Chrollo Lucilfer steals her ability, causing the Nostrade Family going downhill. (Source: AnimeNfo.com)
Birthday: June 6 Horoscope: Gemini Age: 28 Height: 187 cm Weight: 91 kg Hair color: 1999 anime - blue (Hunter Exam arc), red (from Heavens Arena arc); red (2011) Eye color: blue (1999), yellow (2011) Blood type: B Occupation: Hunter, Phantom Troupe's #4 (former) Nen type: Transmutation Notorious for his cruel and deceitful fighting ability, Hisoka has proven to be deadly. His deviousness and volatility has made many opponents have difficulty anticipating his next move, and this has led to him winning many battles. Using Shu powered poker cards as his primary weapon, he throws them with ease and deadly accuracy. Also, he is very intrigued by Gon and the potential this young boy has to become an adept and powerful adversary. Hisoka, ever looking for a strong opponent, is willing to aid, or at least not defeat prematurely, someone that could develop into a future opponent. Sometime into the series, Hisoka is revealed to be a recently joined member of the Genei Ryodan, though his association with the organization is, rather characteristically, simply in order to fight a remarkable opponent. In actuality, his membership is a farce, a fact he later reveals at an opportune time. (Source: HunterHunter Wikia, Japanese Wikipedia)
