A small-time criminal who was in a gang with his best friend, Harry McDowell, along with three other close friends. After these three were killed, Brandon and Harry joined Millennion, a powerful mafia-type organization formed by Big Daddy. Brandon was trained by the Millennion's Bear Walken to be a sweeper (hitman), eventually forming his own elite sweeper unit within Millennion called True Grave. Even as Harry rose to power, Brandon remained loyal to Big Daddy for Maria's sake. When he eventually confronted Harry over treason against the organization, Harry killed him. Brandon was then resurrected by Dr. T and "Beyond the Grave" was born. In the first game (and the anime), his purpose is to destroy the Millennion syndicate that he had once worked for and the man who betrayed him. In the storyline of the videogame he actually survives the ordeal, killing Harry (who politely accepts his defeat after the destruction of all of his created monsters). With his mission complete, Grave chooses to stay with Mika as her permanent Guardian, although he must be returned to sleep to prevent his necrolized body from deteriorating.

Beluga J. Heard in the manga Number XI of the Chronos Numbers, he is Cerberus Unit's long range attacker. He wields a bazooka named "Verethragna." He dies helping Jenos and Naizer escape from the Apostles of the Stars' collapsing hideout after a failed attempt on Creed's life due to Jenos's thoughtless intervention. Beluga J. Heard in the anime Belouga is identical to his manga counterpart, except in the Anime it isn't told if he dies or not in the escape, but is presumed so as he does not appear in the story after the attack on the castle. The last we see of him is an effort by himself and Naizer to attack Creed, the Camera shot pans to give us a a view of the ruined castle, and a large explosion can be seen. While fighting through the Castle, he engages Shiki in a battle. Shiki thinks he is simply wasting his attacks and firing wildly, but realises too late that his true target was the supporting walls of the castle, leading the building to collapse. Kiki is a little black cat who is almost always with Dark Side Cat. In one episode, Kiki reveals the Dark Side Cat's past, which he had told her. Until Kiki revealed it, no one else had known of Dark Side Cat's past, not even the other cats. Because Kiki is the only character we know the Dark Side Cat has entrusted his past to (or spoken to at all), it's clear that he is fond of her. Or can at least put up with her.
