A thirteen-year-old apprentice witch, leaving her home village to spend a year on her own. She has no visible magical abilities other than communicating with her cat and broom-flying (at which she is still a novice). She is excitable, innocent, and by turns eager and shy. Some of the earlier concept drawings of Kiki closely resembled the original longer hair illustrations by Akiko Hayashi. Suzuki is a friend of Akira he met in middle school. He has a prince-like aura (which Akira often says) and a tall figure, taller than Akira. He always defends Akira from others and treats her gently, that's why she fell in love with him. He once said that Neiro, his cousin and a cross-dresser, is his girlfriend which causes Akira to chop off her long hair. In high school, he often stops the fights of Akira and Neiro. In the manga, He has an unrequited ove with Neiro's sister, that Akira finds out.
