Sol is part of the Element 4 group. He along with Juvia were sent to capture Lucy to bring her back to their master, Jose. He is nicknamed Sol of the earth, as shown by his name his magic consists of controlling and creating the different forms of earth (sand, rocks, etc.) he has also been shown to be able to wrap his body around a persons arm maybe even their whole body. Sol is one of a number of Zeon soldiers stationed at a remote base. When White Base nears the base, a fellow soldier, Cuaran comes up with a plan to destroy the Gundam by placing bombs on it.
