Gabriella Montez is East High`s leading lady. Being the girlfriend of the captain of the basketball team can be tricky, with all the other girls wanting him and his team members pressuring him, but in the end it is worth it. She is also a member of the winning scholastic decathlon along with one of her best friends, Taylor. She is also known for her amazing talent- singing. She was even part of the winter musical called "Twinkle Towne". During the summer she is a lifeguard at the "Lava Springs" country club. She often questions her love for Troy because of the school`s over achiever, Sharpay. The future scares Gabriella, she doesn`t want to leave Troy. She is accepted to Stanford, and has an oportunity to go early, but she doesn`t want to leave East High. It is over 1,000 miles away from where Troy wants to go. She decidies to go, but with an ache in her heart. Troy suprises her with a vist and a waltz, sense they couldn`t make it to the prom. In the end, Troy chooses to go to Berkley which is only 37 miles away. Troy says she inspires him. We won`t know what happens next, that is something you`ll have to dream yourself. Grim and dry with a bit of a cruel streak, Katou is the Sensei of Class 2-D. The primary target of his abuse seems to be the mild-mannered Tani; the rivalry between 2-C and 2-D appears to extend to the teachers themselves.
Gotou Genkai is the captain of the tuna fishing boat (Kikokumaru - The Ogre) seen in episode 25 of School Rumble Season 1. He has a very large build, and caution should be taken when in close proximity. He was a manga artist before becoming a fisherman, and has published many titles. His debut title was "1, 2 no Maguro," which Harima read after his fishing adventures and claimed to be boring. Maguro is Japanese for tuna.
Tougou Haruna is the younger sister of Tougou Masakazu of Class 2-D. Evidence from the manga shows that she is in the same class as Tsukamoto Yakumo, and her close friend is Inaba Miki. Like her older brother, she displays a high level of elegance and likes to do things her own way. As of Episode 3 of the 2nd term, she does not yet have a speaking role. She also appeared in School Rumble season 1 episode 21 with her close friend Inaba Miki.
Also known as "Goriyama" (a mix of his name with gorilla), he is a very strict, yet sensible teacher. An enforcer of discipline, he is eager to catch students in wrongdoing. He falls prey to Saeko's "skills" at 2-C's cafe.
