Fierce Deity Link Is The Strongest Mask In Both The Majoras Mask Game And Manga. Sporting Face Paint, And A Headband, It Seems As If Fierce Deity Link Would Be A Tribal God Of Some Sort. Link's Fierce Deity form is popularly referred to as "Oni Link" within the The Legend of Zelda community: the word "oni" is Japanese for "demon", as well as the Japanese term for the "it" player in games like tag and hide-and-go-seek, which is notable considering that the child of the Moon wearing Majora's Mask asks Link to play a game, where Link is "it". However, while appropriate, this name is technically incorrect, as it is only half the translation. In the Japanese version, the Fierce Deity's Mask was called the Kishin Mask. The kanji for oni (demon) and kami (god) combined reads kishin; meaning fierce god or fierce deity.
Lind L. Tailor is a convicted criminal sentenced to die; this information was kept secret from the public. L places Tailor as a dummy on television. The television states that the broadcast is worldwide and that Tailor's statements are being translated into Japanese by Yoshio Anderson. After Tailor states that he is "L," he reads a declaration stating that Kira is evil. Light, in a rage, kills Tailor with a heart attack. The real L announces that Tailor was a decoy, a criminal on death row, and tells Kira to try to kill him. When L finds that Kira did not kill him, L learns that Kira needs the person's real name and face to kill the victim. L announces that the video was aired only in the Kanto area of Japan as a ploy to determine the location of Kira. L, originally planning to air the video in other areas in Japan at different times, stated that it would not be necessary to continue broadcasting Tailor's footage. In the anime and manga, Tailor has long hair. In the film, Tailor has a short haircut. As in the film, a Japanese speaker dubs Tailor's English into Japanese as the Tailor recording is broadcast. Matt Lagan portrays Tailor in the film. (Source: Death Note Wikia)
A female imperial guard of the Kuhin family, Lin is the newest bodyguard of Murasaki, replacing her former guard, Kiba, due to female convenience. Armed with a pair of katana, her fighting skills are formidable, though not at the level of Yayoi Inuzuka. Although she disapproves of Shinkur, nevertheless, she accepts him as Murasaki's companion, and frowns heavily on all the attention Shinkur receives from other girls (even if he is unaware of it). Lin takes Murasaki's wishes literally, including attempting to get Shinkur and Murasaki wedded to each other, despite not having permission from either party (or their families, for that matter). Under Murasaki's care, Lin is slowly learning about normal life, albeit with some difficulty. Lin is a completely different character in the anime TV series. She has no interest in the Kuhin family matters and only works for them because she desires strong opponents to defeat.
