Section 2 Division 2 Team 1: The giant from Okinawa. He is soft-spoken and kind-hearted. He wanted to join his father as a fisherman but easily gets seasick. He later joined the police force and eventually made it over to SV.2. Yamazaki's too large to fit in a labor's cockpit, so he is designated as the carrier driver for Unit 1. When not on duty he tends to SV.2's vegetable garden where his green fingers can be seen. He's extremely strong, as demonstrated in Movie 1 and 2 where Yamazaki mans the massive anti-labor rifle borrowed from the Narashino Parachute Labor team (apparently an M82 anti-material rifle). He possesses the unique and peculiar ability of transforming into a small dog after counting to three in German. How powerful he is has not been shown but he has mentioned that he is an Honorary Knight, the position two ranks below Paladin. He has been shown responsible for allowing several higher class demons onto campus. Plans to become a Meister in Aria He is the 5th and youngest son of his family, and tells Konekomaru he's glad of this because it means he has less responsibilities. His older brother Juuzou says he's the pervert out of the brothers. He has pink (dyed) hair. It is naturally black. In the manga, Renzou wears a man-tailored (flannel sort of) shirt over a t-shirt with a symbol, sort of like a bulls-eye. Renzou also carries around K'rik (Khakkhara) staff, which he and his two brothers also have. Renzou is a carefree character and was the first person to actually befriend Rin since the revealing of the blue flames, which shows Renzou is the friendly-type. He is also afraid of bugs, yet he is known as the pervert out of the Shima brothers. Renzou was born into the temple that Bon and Konekumaru was in as well, making him the childhood friend of the two. In chapter 48, he comes out as the spy of Illuminati. Kojima Genta is a student in Teitan Elementary when Shinichi joins his class as Edogawa Conan. Shortly afterwards, he and his classmate Ayumi decide to investigate an apparently haunted mansion, and they persuade Conan to come along. When their friend and classmate Mitsuhiko expresses his skepticism about supernatural hauntings, Genta forcefully 'persuades' him to tag along as well. As it turns out, the haunting is a cover-up for an old homicide case. Soon after, the accidental acquisition of a treasure map leads Ayumi, Genta, Mistuhiko and Conan on a hunt for a cache of stolen Italian gold coins, during which Conan saves them from getting killed by the mafia members who are also after the gold. After the case is resolved, Mitsuhiko joins Genta and Ayumi in forming the nucleus of an amateur detective group, the Detective Boys. Genta is quick to pronounce himself the leader of the group, but his lackadaisical leadership abilities are commonly neglected in the field, and in fact everyone (even Genta) unconsciously views Conan as the group's actual leader. Genta's school shoe locker is used as a mailbox for any of their fellow students to present them with a case to solve. Genta loves food, especially unagi, and can eat more than all the other Detective Boys members combined. When discussions of money come up, Genta tends to think about it in terms of how many unagi bowls he could buy. He also tends to mess up certain Japanese terms with similar-sounding words (especially if the latter are related to food) and sometimes has trouble reading even the most common Kanji, which on occasion causes some ridicule from his classmates and friends. His brash personality, lack of awareness of his surroundings, and tendency to not think before acting often lands the Detective Boys (or at least himself) in sticky situations. Even though he is brash, outspoken and can be intimidating, Genta is actually very kind and dependable. Oyuki is the queen of Neptune, which in the series is a frozen, snowy planet populated entirely by women, as most of the men have to go off-planet to find work. As a child she used to hang out with Lum, Ran, and Benten when they were all in grade school. She is clearly patterned after the yuki-onna (literally "snow woman") of Japanese folklore. As such, she has the power to control and create ice, snow, and extreme cold. Typically dressed in a long, elegant kimono, Oyuki is soft-spoken, regal in demeanor and very slow to show anger. However, once roused to actually display her abilities she proves to be the most powerful character in the series. Because of the wrath she displays when angered, Oyuki is the only person in the entire galaxy that Ran genuinely fears.
NYPD, Section 2 Division 2 Team 2: A temporary member of Section 2, on assignment from the NYPD. Sent to observe a labor unit with the purpose of helping build one for New York City. Highly capable in all duties. Her piloting skills are better than Ohta's, but was assigned to backup duty since acclimating the Labor to a temporary officer would be a poor decision. (Also, keeping Ohta in line is not a job for an idiot). Much like Nagumo, Kanuka is very by-the-book. She is usually all business and sometimes cold to the members of SV.2 with the exception of Noa. Kanuka was born in Hawaii but apparently moved to New York later on. When she travels back to New York, she stops in Hawaii to see her grandmother whom she loves dearly. Lum's childhood friend and most loyal friend in the Galaxy. Her character is named after Shichifukujin Benzaiten (one of the Seven Lucky Gods), the Shinto goddess of knowledge, art, and beauty. This Benten is a "space biker chick" who wears a plate-mail bikini, sports a "butch" hair style, tears around the sky on a flying alien chopper, curses like a longshoreman, and carries a high-tech bazooka. She's sassy, smart and easy going. She's also has a good sense of humor and an even greater sense of honor. She's always willing to help Lum whenever she's gets in a tight spot. (Source: Wikipedia)
