A five-year old Irish girl who goes out in search of a the legendary Black Swordsman. She hopes to recruit his services to protect her village from an imminent attack by English soldiers; however, the Black Swordsman will only accept a particular genre of books as payment for his services. Upon receiving her book, the swordsman engulfs himself in reading the novel. While the girl anxiously awaiting the Black Swordsman to finish the novel, the English approach the Irish village. The girl knows the Black Swordsman's secret, but she makes a promise never to tell anyone about it, otherwise he'll kill her.

Due to this, she has found herself fighting against both Sonic's team and Eggman's team, though she tends to side with Sonic most of the time. Her treasure hunting ways have made her a rival to Knuckles, guardian of the Chaos Emeralds. Though confident in her abilities (and a skilled fighter), she knows when to escape, and also knows that fighting is not always the answer.
Espio the Chameleon is an anthropomorphic chameleon who is an expert ninja. He is also 16 years old. He is described as the "guardian of honor" of the Chaotix, also being the calmest. He has a "militaristic discipline" while also being quiet and laid back. Confident in his skills, opinionated and self-obsessed, he revels in training and self discipline. He is not concerned by danger, and often yearns to face it in order to use his ninja skills. With his extensive training in ninjutsu and an ability to turn himself invisible, he is able to move around unnoticed. However, a blunder like a sneeze could cause him to inadvertently become visible. Espio also made an appearance in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games as a referee. GameZone staff writer Louis Bedigian claimed that "Espio must think he's part hedgehog because he can speed boost and become invisible".

Jack the Ripper (切り裂�ジャック, Jakku za Ripp� or Kirisaki Jakku) was a killer with claws, a mask, and bondage outfit. In the anime it was suggested that like his name sake he was fond of killing women and was shown after murdering a women and eating her soul "Jack the Ripper" immediately went after another women for her soul only to be stopped by Maka and Soul causing him to become their ninety-ninth evil human soul.
