Ayumi Mamiya is a young witch who was cursed during her childhood. The only one who could lift this curse is Haruo Yoshikawa, which forces her to study at the same school and move into the Yoshikawa residence as the maid. Because of this, she and Maika constantly get into arguments usually involving Haruo. The only thing Ayumi focuses on is trying to make Haruo a man through flirting and sometimes spells. She uses her curse as an excuse for flirting with him many times, although it is revealed that she truly loves him in the last episode. But as time is reversed it is unknown if she can still remember that she loves him in the last episode.

A gym teacher at the girls' school. In the girls' first year of high school, she is the homeroom teacher of Class 5. During their last two years, she is the homeroom teacher of Class 2. An old high school friend and rival of Yukari, they have a juvenile, exasperating, but funny relationship with each other; Yukari relentlessly insults and freeloads from Nyamo, but Nyamo gets her digs in, too. "Nyamo" is a nickname from her student days, but Yukari calls her that, and so does Tomo. Other students call her Kurosawa-sensei. Whereas Yukari appears to be an older version of Tomo, Nyamo resembles Yomi (more in personality than looks) and the two teachers' odd relationship is similar to the one that Tomo and Yomi share. Popular with the students, Nyamo is nicer, less obnoxious, and far more in control than Yukari. Yukari often teases her about her past romantic relationships and that she is a "stupid P.E. teacher." During one of the summer trips the girls take together, Nyamo gets very drunk (usually, Yukari is prone to this behaviour; as a matter of fact, Nyamo drank specifically to keep the alcohol away from Yukari) and tells the girls all about the birds and the bees, which embarrasses Sakaki and confuses Chiyo, but impresses the other girls. In addition to teaching her homeroom class and P.E., Nyamo is the coach/advisor of the women's swim team. Kagura calls her "Coach" and holds her in very high regard. The fact that students tend to come to her with their problems is yet another source of Yukari's jealousy, as well as the fact that she is generally more "together" and better-disciplined. Unlike Yukari, Nyamo is able to maintain an apartment of her own. She also owns and drives a blue Toyota Vitz 5-door. She is very sensitive to comments about her love life, which has evidently provided Yukari with an endless supply of blackmail material and points at which to rib her. One of these apparently involves a "love letter" from high school, which Yukari loves to dangle over her head. Duelo McFile is the ship doctor for the Nirvana. Duero quickly takes over medical emergencies often at the objection of the female pirates, but ignores them, assuring the crewmembers that he is not a threat. Since he is the only licensed medical practitioner on board the Nirvana, and being that the medical facilities on board the female pirate ship were no longer operational, the female pirates were left with no choice but to have him as their official doctor. A very calm and collected character, it was said that Duero got whatever job he wanted simply by submitting a blank resume with his name on it as he was one of Taraak's elite. However, he can be confused and awkward when faced with something outside of his experience and education, as when he had to coach Hibiki and Dita through delivery of Ezra's baby. While very analytical, he also makes an important discovery during the series regarding Hibiki's heritage. He eventually becomes close friends with Parfait, the first woman he worked closely with, which later develops into a mutual attraction. He fits the anime classification of a bish�nen, randomly acts yaoi-like and never shows the right side of his face. The latter trait is explicitely referenced at the very end of the second season, when Paiway Underberg sneaks up to Duero and for a second, strokes aside the hair covering his right eye. She then contentedly exclaims "Just as I thought!" but because the audience only sees Duero's back at that moment, what she saw exactly remains a mystery(judging by the rather pleased faces both Paiway and Parfait had, he is probably handsome). Sent by Odin to assassinate Loki, the watchman Heimdall takes the form of a young boy(Kazumi Higashiyama) as a disguise. However, due to the theft of his right eye, he is forced to have neck-length purple hair that completely covers the right side of his face. His nails are actually long, sharp claws, so he wears bulky gloves to hide them. He believes Loki to be the thief that stole his eye, so in addition to carrying out the assassination order, he intends to retrieve his eye or avenge its loss by any means necessary. Although he is one of the more serious characters in the series, Heimdall is also the butt of many jokes. The manga frequently makes fun of his serious personality and his obsession with Loki, and even though "Kazumi Higashiyama" doesn't attend school, Heimdall still has a daily schedule consisting of piano lessons, singing lessons, and cram school. In the anime, Heimdall usually gets dragged along on shopping sprees by his roommate Freyr, much to his own dismay.
