Lucy is an alien girl who doesn't have much expression and doesn't have any friends. In the anime, she introduces herself to Takaki's class as 'Ruuko Kirei na Sora', which means 'beautiful sky.' She meets Takaki in the sixth episode of the anime, but we see her in an earlier episode without any dialog. She refers to herself as 'Ru', the name of her home planet and the beings on it, and to earth and earthlings as 'Uu'. She greets people by reaching for the sky and saying, 'Ru!' Himeyuri Sango in particular enjoys mimicking Lucy's greeting. Lucy has a cat that almost drowns in the sixth episode but it is saved with the help of Takaaki; Lucy summons a thunderbolt which splits a tree, forming a bridge which Takaaki crosses to lift the cat out of a raging river. Lucy terms this stray cat 'the Nya', saying that it is a special species that can enjoy the true taste of food, and like Ru, Nya is alone on Uu. Lucy likes to cook the Nya fish broiled over a charcoal clay pot, which according to her is the best cooking device available on Uu. Apparently a currency of Ru is matchsticks, one of which is enough to buy a whole rocket engine. Lucy irritates the cafeteria cook of Takaaki's school by attempting to treat Takaaki to the best meal the cook can prepare by paying the cook first one, then two matchsticks, however Lucy is somehow able to successfully purchase her charcoal clay pot and fish to br with matchsticks. Lucy says that on Ru, it is said that the only good Uu is a dead Uu, but Takaaki is a special Uu.
A thirteen-year-old apprentice witch, leaving her home village to spend a year on her own. She has no visible magical abilities other than communicating with her cat and broom-flying (at which she is still a novice). She is excitable, innocent, and by turns eager and shy. Some of the earlier concept drawings of Kiki closely resembled the original longer hair illustrations by Akiko Hayashi. It was eventually decided to cut her hair short due to the extra difficulty for animators. (Source: Wikipedia)
The (more or less) leader of the "pack," Kiba follows his instincts towards Paradise. When he was young, his pack and family were slaughtered when the forest where he lived was burned to the ground by Jagara's troops. He was then raised by a native who told him that he had a purpose, explaining why the forest spared his life. This native told him that he would have a great journey ahead of him, and that journey was to find paradise. Kiba begins his quest for paradise in the hope that there he will finally find peace. He tends to be distrustful of humans, and in the early episodes is reluctant to take a human form, even when it's more convenient. He also has a "love" for Cheza, which may only be due to the fact that she can lead them to paradise. Kiba seems to be an Arctic wolf in the series. It is revealed later in the series that he is, in fact, the chosen one who is destined to find and open paradise. (Source: Wikipedia) Kiba's name means "fang" in Japanese.

Kilik (ã‚リク, Kiriku?) is the former Gem King of the first Sleeping Forest. He is a gravity child along with his twin sister, Simca, and his childhood friend, Sora, and he is the most gifted of the first generation. While in Sleeping Forest, he develops a crush on Rika. He eventually learns that Sora has evil intentions, so he rebels against him with other gravity children. He defeats Sora, steals the Wind Regalia, and then looses his own regalia to Nike. He judges people using a one hundred point system with random variables. After Sora reappears in the AT world, he begins training in extreme pressure in order to stand up against him. He follows the Gaia Road, which, in his case, is able to memorize and finally engrave any riding script from a rider no matter how fast, high, and tricky it is. He is seen training to become as hard as diamond.
