The love interest of Roan, Yufa is an acolyte and Roan's childhood friend. Though she puts on a smile for Roan, it's obvious she's still mourning the loss of her older brother, Keough. When Keough suddenly returns to life as an evil being, she becomes confused and doesn't know whether or not to fight her brother or protect him. Later, in an effort to save the souls under the control of the Moonlight Flower in Payon, she becomes a Priestess. Eventually, Roan's ignorance and arrogance pushes Yufa away and prompts her to leave the group (and Roan) behind for her brother, Keough. Keough eventually corrupts Yufa by removing her soul crystal, something that seems to give her the ability to stay pure, and is also consequently one of the key items of Dark Lord's revival. After stabbing Roan in her corrupt state, Keough comes to her in a vision and tells her that he must leave her... but that Roan would protect her in his absence. This vision broke Dark Lord's corruption, and freed Yufa to allow her to see what she had done. Holding the dying Roan in her arms, Yufa kissed her childhood love at last. This kiss of true love destroyed the cursed ruby ailing Roan, allowing the two to stand together against Dark Lord. With the help of her friends and Roan, Yufa sealed Dark Lord away with a Magnus Exorcismus spell. At the end of the series, it is implied that Roan and Yufa married.

Shishigami is the ancient spirit of the forest. During the day, Shishigami resembles a great stag with many antlers, bird-like feet, and the face of a baboon. At sunset, Shishigami becomes Daidarabocchi, a huge god in a humanoid form that appears to be made out of stars with a long pointed face and tentacle-like spikes on the back. Big the Cat is a large, 18-year-old, purple anthropomorphic cat with yellow eyes and long ears who first debuted in Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast. With the help of Sonic he stops Chaos and saves Froggy, later helping Sonic defeat him permanently by giving him one of the Chaos Emeralds. Next, he appeared in Sonic Heroes helping Team Rose save Froggy and Chocola (Cheese's twin brother) who had been kidnapped by Metal Sonic, gain Chaos' data, and help stop Metal Madness. He appeared in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood as one of the main characters in the story mode. He is found in Mystic Ruins and is the fifth character to join the team. Big is also vital for many areas in that game. His next appearance will be in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing as one of the playable characters. He rides a small green motorcycle and his All-Star move is to have his buddy Froggy grow huge. Then, Big grabs on to his tail and Froggy rams into Big's opponents. Big was featured in a McDonald's promotion between December 3 and December 27, 2004. One of eight handheld dedicated consoles packaged with Happy Meals featured Big recreationally fishing. Xbox World's preview of Sonic Heroes called Big the "gay best friend" of Amy and Cream.[18] In a preview of Sonic and the Secret Rings, Nintendo Power praised the exclusion of Big from the game, referring to him as a "dim-witted, morbidly obese feline".
