First appeared in Konoha's State of the World. A young man with amnesia. He is currently living at Hiyori's sister's house as a foster child. Not knowing about the normal world, he's rather my-pace (air-headed, lost). In his spare time, he plays baseball with the neighborhood children. He is known to possess a strong curiosity for the unknown. His favorite animal is the triceratops. Regarding eye abilities. He was once a human called Haruka Kokonose but was turned into a cyber-being as he received his eye power. As a human, he was a classmate with Takane Enomoto. He was also known to have a serious illness or disease that made him weak physically and often sickly. He died because of this and entered the Heat Haze, where he was possessed by the Awakening Eyes snake. He wished to be able to have fun with his friends. His snake, taking the wish the wrong way, forcibly rips Haruka's body from his spirit/soul, and reincarnates Haruka as his game character from Dead Bullet, while his spirit/soul was left in the Heat Haze. The Snake of Clearing Eyes. During every timeline, Konoha is possessed by Snake of Clearing Eyes and changes appearance. This form has black hair and wears a black shirt instead of a white one. The black shirt that Konoha wears beneath the upper one remains black. His eyes appear yellow, as do the circles above the right cheek. He kills most, if not every member of the Mekakushi Dan at certain points. In Lost Time Memory, he is shown to be crying and attempting suicide by pointing a gun at his head, but is stopped by Shintaro. In the true ending, he is stopped by Shintaro and Ayano, who stopped Mary from resetting time and allowing the Heat Haze to swallow up the world. There, Kenjirou reunited with Ayaka, fulfilling his wish. A 1/4-Medusa, 3/4-human girl. Her mother told her "We're medusae, so if we make eye contact with a human they'll be turned to stone." While growing up, she always stuck to their words and hid herself away from the world in the forest. Even after they died, she continued to live alone. By chance, a boy named Seto visited the forest and found her. He has since brought her to the outside world. After coming to the Mekakushi Dan's hideout, and joining the group, she leads a sideline life making fake flowers in her room which generate a very small income. When she went into town to buy ingredients, the first people she met were neighborhood children. They bullied her, and she was traumatized by the incident, so she rarely goes outside anymore. Her inherited ability is Staring Eyes, which allows her to temporarily stop the movement of whoever meets her gaze for a short amount of time. Regarding eye abilities. As a child, she disobeyed Shion, her mother, and went outside to play. Humans tried to kidnap her, and Shion tried to rescue her, but arrived too late and two were beaten to death. They both entered the Heat Haze and she obtained the Combining Eyes ability, in addition to her Staring Eyes ability. Timelines After the Snake of Clearing Eyes' plans were foiled by Ayano, it decided to focus on forcing Mary to reset time instead, so it could keep existing. To do this, it would possess Konoha and kill most or every Mekakushi Dan member in order for Mary to use her Combining Eyes ability to call upon all snakes and reset time so she could spend more time with her friends. However, during the true ending after many repeats, Shintaro and Ayano stopped her so she could use the snakes powers to swallow the world in the Heat Haze instead, effectively fulfilling Kenjirou's wish and erasing the Snake of Clearing Eyes from existence. She is good at cooking, but bad at drawing. Yuu likes to call her "S.B.J.K." (Shitto Bukai Joshi Kousei, which means "deeply jealous high school girl"), and Kotone tends to call her "Harupoppo." Age: 16, 18 Slaine is a young boy of average height. He wears the uniform of the Mars Orbital Knights. Slaine is shown to be very friendly with Princess Asseylum, being completely loyal to her. When presented with the possibility of her being alive, he boldly went after her alone. Slaine was born on Earth. His father was a scientist sent to study the ALDNOAH drives. He and his father were rescued by the royal family, having to work under them, he slowly developed a strong bond with the Princess. Because he was born on Earth, he faces a lot of discrimination from the people of Mars. After finding out Princess Asseylum was alive, he tracked her down using his only lead, an orange KG-6 Sleipnir, which was piloted by Inaho. Stealing an aircraft, he flew towards Earth where it was last sighted. After locating the mecha, he deflected a missile from the enemy Martian Kataphrakt. Assisting with Inaho's fight against the Kataphrakt, they were able to defeat it with their combined skills. However, Inaho later shot him down, fearing Slaine might have been an assassin. Recaptured by the Orbital Knights, Slaine was beaten, but did not reveal anything. After the Orbital Knights were reassured of his loyalty, they began to tend to his injuries when the base was attacked by Count Saazbaum, who had masterminded the plot to assassinate Princess Asseylum. After Saazbaum nearly kills Asseylum, he shoots and leaves Inaho for dead, while he forgives Saazbaum and gives his full loyalty to the Martians. He eventually is knighted by Count Saazbaum and now pilots the Kataphrakt Tharsis that once belonged to Cruhteo. Count Saazbaum eventually names Slaine as his son. Before a major battle against the Earth Federation, Slaine shot off a barrage of bullets, set to orbit around the Earth and hit Inaho's location in the future. However, he eventually used his trap on Count Saazbaum when Inaho is saved by Inko, for the reason that he has still not forgiven the count for attempting to kill the princess.
