Meito Anizawa, also known as Anime Tenchou, is the manager of the Animate shop that Konata regularly visits; he was originally the mascot of Animate. He and his staff consider Konata their most valued customer known as "Legendary Girl A" and go to great lengths to sell to her. Their attempts usually fail miserably. His appearance is heavily stylized compared to the other characters, and he is known for his hot-blooded yelling and highly energetic movements and poses. Hermes is a Brough Superior motorrad (a two-wheeled vehicle that cannot fly but moves in the direction it's pointed—in other words, a motorcycle) who travels around with Kino. Hermes provides the speed that allows them to go anywhere they wish. Aside from his speed and capacity for toting about large amounts of luggage (Kino never seems to travel light), Hermes doesn't really have many other qualities except for constantly mixing up quotes and complaining. He is also rather gullible, trusting Kino absolutely even when Kino is teasing him, which leads him to grumble and complain some more. Perhaps his most famous line is "I'm bored." The motorrad is in many ways naive and innocent, and acts very child-like, which tends to be a sharp contrast to Kino's more mature and worldly bearing. Even though Husky "hated" her in the beginning, she now seems to have a crush on him, and cherishes the necklace he made for her. She is good at household things. She was raised doing household chores so she can do them naturally. Her favorite food is anything luxurious. Her favoriye food is freshly baked bread. She can't eat bread while camping outside. She also likes vegetable soup.
b' A researcher in Astar.He is the childhood friend of Igneous and knows everything that goes on in Astaria,claiming he's "no ordinary researcher".Although it is not revealed what he researches it may have something to do with + anima due to his knowledge of them.He seems very intrested in Cooro and the others and knows Cooro from the past.He has a very distinct personality sometimes being playful and jokey and other times being more serious than even Igneous. '
A young girl who is traveling by herself.She loves + Anima and would love to meet one.When Cooro and the others first meet her,they think it would be bad to show her that they are + Anima.Later on,she is attacked by a pair of fugitives wearing wolf pelts.When Cooro saves her from them,she begins to follow him during his travels.She is strangely familiar to both Cooro and Igneous.
