Iwase is an academic achiever in school. She's difficult to get along with due to her strict and high-standard nature. She leads a rather lonely life however, this doesn't bother her as she's always focused on her studies. In her world, she only respects people that rivals her ranking in school. When she appeares with Miyoshi Kaya at Takagi's house after his suspension, she reveals that she liked him. She took notice of Takagi during their middle school days as the only person that managed to out-rank and out-score her in academic performance. For her, giving out a simple hand-shake was a huge deal, as it meant a physical sign of respect and even going out together. However, she was so subtle to Takagi that she entirely missed the chance to properly convey her feelings. Her occasional mouth of challenge to Takagi only suggested to him to maintain this one-sided rivalry, but in reality, she was encouraging him in her subtle romantic intentions. Things started to change when she realized Takagi dropped in his school ranking and even stopped caring about his scores. When he was pressed to choose between her and Miyoshi, Takagi made it clear he's focused on being a mangaka more than romance. When Iwase tells Takagi to not pursue his ambitions and instead continue their academic rivalry she, to her surprise, was rejected by him. She reappears in chapter 60 as a student at To-oh University and novel writer. Iwase worked in publishing to prove her line of literary works are superior to Takagi, but unfortunately, it was another unofficial rivalry that he didn't realize until she pointed it out later. Iwase however, still she sees Takagi as a rival and decides to write stories for Shonen Jump to see if she can beat him at his own game. Her editor is Hattori, who worked with Takagi and Mashiro. She later becomes the writer for Eiji's new manga +Natural. She also teams up with Eiji for a collaboration in Crow for a few chapters. After Hattori returns as Takagi and Mashiro's editor, her new editor is Miura. Her writing and plot are praised for being very well made.
Age: 23 (debut), 31 (end) Birthday: May 14, 1987 Miura is the second editor for Ashirogi Muto. He is very enthusiastic and excited, and sometimes not a hard enough editor for the boys. After Detective Trap was canceled, he pushed Mashiro and Takagi to work on a gag manga.
Age: 45 (debut), 55 (end) Birthday: February 22, 1963 Editor-in-Chief of Weekly Jump. He tends to behave indifferently or even coldly but it's all for Jump's authors and editors to regain their spirits. He has a good eye for manga and believes it's most important for a manga to be interesting. He's not afraid to make a gamble in order to make the magazine better, but will not put authors' lives at risk. He knew Saikou's uncle, Kawaguchi Taro, since he was the Assistant Editor-in-Chief at the time Kawaguchi Taro had to quit.
She is N's allies and have similar abilities for hearing the voices of Pokémon. Anthea and Helena debuted at the end of BW117, where they rescued N after he was injured fighting Colress and Team Plasma in a city. With Ash and his friends in tow, they took N to their secret refuge in the woods where they protect injured Pokémon. Anthea and Helena also appeared in the next episode, where they and N told Ash and company about their past with Team Plasma and Ghetsis. When several Plasma Grunts found their way into the refuge, Ash and his friends battled against the Grunts, and managed to subdue them. After this, N joined his foster sisters, and disappeared into the mist. When the mist faded, N, Anthea, and Helena were gone, and Ash and his friends found themselves on a wide field, where they saw the Dragonspiral Tower, towering a little distance away. She agreed to marry Mashiro when both of their dreams come true. However, she also told him that in the mean time, they should not have any distractions so they will contact each other only through emails. Her best friend is Kaya Miyoshi. Although her outer image is shy, she is a very mysterious girl. It is sometimes hard to know what she is thinking about. After securing her role as the main heroine in Ashirogi Muto's "Reversi," she finally receives a proper marriage proposal from Mashiro, which she accepts. They begin living in her old house which Mashiro purchased and are married following Ashirogi Muto's next serialization.
Age: 40 (currently) Birthday: June 23, 1978 Yoshida is Hiramaru Kazuya's editor. He tells the chief-editor in the meeting about his genius, which led to Hiramaru's serialization. He is able to ignore Hiramaru's personality. He is also a Captain, meaning he gets to sit in the serialization meetings and lead the other editors in his team, like Yamahisa. Yoshida is perhaps the most manipulative of the editors shown. When he realizes that forcing Hiramaru to work isn't applicable to an efficient and/or long-running series, he bribes him with rich items or information about Aoki Ko in order to get him back to work and pay off the debts he owes for buying such items. Yoshida is able to keep this running for an extended period of time (throughout the 200 chapters of Otters 11), even threatening Hiramaru with disassociation with Shueisha if he does not get serialized again after Otters 11 gets canceled. Yoshida's reason and rationality are even more key to his character. He is able to deduce that Niizuma Eiji was responsible for +Natural's artwork and worries that Hiramaru's manga will take a dive if he asks Aoki Ko out and gets rejected, knowing that Hiramaru most probably will get rejected. This reasoning has its limits, however, as Yoshida was greatly surprised that Aoki accepted Hiramaru's proposal, though it would later scratch away most of Hiramaru's negativity and cause a dive in his manga quality.
Age: 19 Orihara is a young assistant who worked with Ashirogi Muto on "Run, Daihatsu Tanto!". He is a very energetic and cheerful character that tends to get loud due to his excitement, may it be about work or something else. When Takagi and Moritaka decide to quit the series, he offers to keep working for them without payment, because he still wants to learn from them. He works as an assistant again, when they start publishing "Perfect Crime Party".
